    I have fond memories of working with Dou gie in a supermarket on the Wirral in the 70's. He was hilarious in work but a bit short of cash at the time. He still owes me for a bag of chips and his bus fare! R.I.P. Doug

    Duggie’s classic parrot (who is it?) joke still sticks in the chuckle muscles to this day. Here he shows that delightful delivery of those anecdotal jokes and truisms. His latter cameos in many a telly-selly-time ad was a useful distraction for those who could spot him.

    Really funny proper comedian. Better than today's comedians. My opinion of course. There are a few good comedians who actually tell jokes today such as Tim Vine but not many.

      Dougie Brown is funnier than Frankie
      Boyle, Kevin Bridges, Rich Hall!!!
      That is hilarious. In fact that is funnier than anything Dougie Brown ever said.

    Do these comedians share their jokes or do they just steal each others. I watched one of these last night and it is almost
    identical but from a comedian not as funny as this one.

    • @RobCharles
      @RobCharles  3 года назад +1

      Back in the day it was called doing the circuit & the material (jokes) were used by a few comedians. Like singers would sing the current hits of the day, it was the popular material that worked with the audiences I’m guessing.
