I truly believe many people are underappreciating what these technologies can do for electronics manufacturing, and the world as a whole. The previously impossible is becoming easily achievable. Phenomenal!
Every single item is manufactured one at a time with AME technology. This is the opposite of mass production. Not having the latter, in NNDM case in principle, means low stream of revenue. In other words staying in the prototyping business could be good for a private company for example, but not so much for a public company. Still I am an investor in NNDM and wish them to expand their business and possibly find a way to implement at some point some sort of real mass production.
Exactly, it would have been impressive if instead the machine prints transistors + resistors + leds etc , even if its 1990s density, that way you can complete the entire device in one step. For example maybe printing an i486 processor, with ram/VGA/ storage all in the size of credit card, that would be impressive
