These guys are such a humble, talented group of guys. They somehow manage to always top their own material. Even after seeing them live 6 times, the experience always gives me a great feeling that never gets old. I fully agree w/ JB saying that NY mosh is all about people going hard and aggressive af haha
For some reason we had alot of 607 gang members coming to shows here. Those twats got every venue shut down in the area because they were such dickheads. Went out of their way to hit people and break shit. Minus those tools, people didnt really try to hit bystanders and usually said sorry if they did.
HAHAHAH opening for 18 Visions! 18 Visions would be HONORED to open for ABR now! So amazing how far this band has come and is still the same kick-ass, metal band they have always been! The pits on Long Island seem very similar to Lancaster, Pa.
ABR is my favorite band. Messengers was the first album I owned and I saw them play live back in like...2004 -2005 at "Rock 'n' Roll" Pizza in Portland Oregon. I am absolutely stoked that Revolver put this short documentary out. I love learning all this stuff about ABR.
I wish I can see them live one day. They use to be my second favorite band, after 2011 when I went to serve a mission, they became my number one favorite band in the genre.
Amazing; these guys definitely carry some seriously positive views not just in their music, but also with how their fan base can respond in som earth shattering levels There’s 1 topic that didn’t need too much mentioning; This talented quintet decided to name their band after a local news story about a young girl named Augustine who was so mad over her boyfriend’s decision to break up, that she figured out how to avenge him in the meanest way possible: she burned his pet dog Red on purpose hence “August Burns Red”
ive listened to a bunch of phinehas and they are kinda average. some cool stuff but definitely not genre defining. go listen to something off suicide season and then pull up a phinehas song and youll see what i mean
Love the band, but Revolver, Your editor needs to fix the ungraded footage at 3:49, the audio cut ins and out can be smoother and not so abrupt (the end ends way too abruptly IMO) you guys got the content and great shots, just need more polish on the edit. ✌🏽
Holy shit there is edit experts now ? You guys have the content but Hey your edit game isnt there.. 3/10 band... next time I want travelling camera etc... To talk about music.
It's funny they way they talk about pits this style of music and this time that's just how we danced we where all just kids having fun if I accidentally hit someone I legitimately felt bad lmao
CGComputerInc I read an interview where he was painting a car and his friend kept calling him, and he finally said who the heck keeps calling me, so he picked up and his friend told him that ABR are looking for a bassist, so he auditioned and they liked him and after the 2nd tour with them (the first was only like a week so he says it doesn’t count) they signed him officially.
They seriously deserve to be recognized as one of the best metal bands to exist.
Spot on. Been saying this for a decade .
"you just pick up an instrument" - picks up a chicken :D
so metal!
Yaaasss

How fuckin awesome to leave everything behind to try out for a metal band. If only it was always that easy. Shits exhilarating to think about.
Very cool. I like that they are down to earth; humble. No one was pretentious. Great guys.
I wish I can see them live one day.
They use to be my second favorite band, after 2011 when I went to serve a mission, they became my number one favorite band in the genre.

Matt you're the man!
Love these guys. I can relate, growing up playing drums in a small, country town where I graduated in 07 with 94 kids in my class.
Man, I was looking for part 3 hoping this was some 10 part series
I hail from Reading, PA , but I used to camp at Dutch Wonder Land in Lancaster every thanksgiving. Those were some of the best memories I have .
Brent is one of the most down to Earth guys you'll ever meet.
Amazing; these guys definitely carry some seriously positive views not just in their music, but also with how their fan base can respond in som earth shattering levels

They've actually confirmed that that story is made up. They have several fake stories about the band's name just for shits and giggles
Yeah no that's not really how they got their name...
man I love this band.
Loooove me some Thrill Seeker!!!
Good ol' Chameleon Club.
Give me more. ABR IS THE GOAT
Agreed, you have to leave your home town to see how much you love and miss YOUR town. But it can alsp show you what you hated about it
3:49 when you forget the adjustment layer
Hahahahahaha
i love how many people are in here just critiquing minute video shit, it's funny for some reason
This is my back yard. Have I been to Chameleon?

If it weren't for this band the entire scene would be literally dead. Who else is putting out good records in this genre still
Christopher Martlin Erra, Polaris, Wage War, After The Burial (to name a few)
after the burial and erras new stuff is dumb. ill check out wage war and polaris
Phinehas is another great band and I love all their albums! Check out their song Our Horses Are Many!
ive listened to a bunch of phinehas and they are kinda average. some cool stuff but definitely not genre defining. go listen to something off suicide season and then pull up a phinehas song and youll see what i mean

1:30 must be waiting for a flood..
Funny cause that's where I went to highschool and that area he's walking floods all the time.

Well someone wanted to show off their drone with lots of drone footage..
I'd love to watch 1 hour of that corn harvester at 0:26 with ABR background music 😆
I will but you all dinner at shady maple, you just give me a date and time😂😂😂

Why wasn't the bass player in this documentary?
i wonder which part of south carolina the singer is from. im from south carolina, didn't know that he was from here.
Eric Sloan he’s actually from New Jersey, he revealed that in ABR Fact & Fiction
Agricultural halls are for agricultural music
It's funny they way they talk about pits this style of music and this time that's just how we danced we where all just kids having fun if I accidentally hit someone I legitimately felt bad lmao

My boy Dustin always gets left out 😤
He lives in Maryland where as the rest of the guys live in PA.
CGComputerInc do you know how they found him?
@@Asstazztic Similar to Jake, their original bassist left and Dustin auditioned and they've been the same 5 members since 2006.
@@Asstazztic Yeah that's the more detailed version haha.
Song name at 2:45?
