Celebrating Filipino Culture and Tradition During the Christmas Season!
I am thrilled to have you here on my RUclips channel, where I will share highlights from the recent event hosted by the Diocese of Orange San Jose Filipino Ministry at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The celebration was a wonderful display of our rich culture and traditions during the Christmas season.
The festivities commenced with a beautiful procession by the Parish of Parols and Pennants, followed by a spiritual Holy Mass led by Bishop Kevin Vann. After the service, everyone gathered at Bishop Fryer Hall for a Salo-Salo, where guests enjoyed an array of delectable Filipino cuisine and socialized with one another.
In addition to the Salo-Salo, a program was prepared featuring various performances by the San Jose Filipino Ministry Rondalla, Kulturang Sayaw, and Mano po Ninong at Ninang. The event also included games, raffles, and prizes, which added to the excitement.
The event was a tremendous success, and it was heartwarming to see so many people come together to celebrate our unique Filipino culture and tradition. I extend my gratitude to the Diocese of Orange San Jose Filipino Ministry for hosting such a meaningful gathering, especially during these times when we are separated from our beloved Philippines.
