Vaas and Buck are really awesome villains, but the difference between these two Is that Buck is the Kind of dude you just wan't to kill as soon as possible.. Vaas instead, is the kind of villain you would like to hear forever.
For me Buck will be the perfect Buddy in Crime. Hes fucking awesome! Just like Vaas of course xD

Its really a shame Vaas wasnt involved in the story more. He had such powerful scenes in the short amount that he was involved in. I rarely see a villain that grabs my attention right off the beat like he did in the beginning of the game. His mannerisms, his voice, his accent and dark eyes, scar....simply a great character. I REALLY would like to see an entire game made about his story and how he got to be who he is. The role his sister played, Hoyts influence etc....

Lichelf Guys, calm down. They got a different shot in the cutscene. So Vaas is still talking to you, but from what I am guessing, it doesn't use your whole body when you are playing. So, if it was in third person, you wouldn't see anything. The only thing that would be there is probably an invisible camera, which explains the point of view of the player.

It comes down to kill or die so honestly its not that hard to belive it is hard tho to belive that he became so good at it so fast.
I actually miss those dialogues in to the final version of the game. I believe they had greater plans for a more immersive story and we only had a slice of it.
This trailer gave me the chills seeing this at age 13 wanting it so bad.

vaas is Jason or vaas was Jason if you play through the whole game and get a lot of collectibles you find out that Jason was your old self, or in better terms he is imagining himself the whole time, stayed stayed on the island and got insane and turned into vaas and that's whybjason wasn't there

In a game such as Far Cry 3, the character does not need to have their body rendered because the game can only be played in first person, and thus only require a first person model. A first person model would be the hands and gun model that you see on your screen in a first person game. Those are rendered only on your screen and nobody other than you can see them, which is the reason Vaas appears to be talking to a tree in this video.

Buck and Vaas aren't just the two main villains of the story they are the perfect Far Cry vilains.

Vaas has got to be one of the most interesting video game characters I've ever seen. Voiced by a Canadian too! National pride even though I now live in the UK. This could be a Real Dark horse for Game of the Year if it turns out half as good as it looks. Come on Nov 30!

Yeah a lot of fans have been asking for a DLC where you get to play as Vaas. Hopefully, Ubisoft will take note, because I personally never bother with DLC's, but that would be so epic even I couldn't resist buying it.

And also, everything that Jason does throughout the game, he does in order to save his friends. So having him kill them at the end makes absolutely no effing sense. Especially since he had already decided he was going to save them and then stay.

If you don't own this game yet, pick it up, its really an amazing game and deserves more praise than it's been given. 9.5/10, very immersive, all around fun game.

the point of the game isn't about just saving your friends, through out the game, jason slowly realizes that what he is fighting in order to save them, is also the same thing he must embrace... Insanity. it is only at the end of the game you decide if you are still human or the same as vaas.
