    I would never have thought of the purple for whitening the buttercream. I’ve seen the boiling water before tho. Good stuff 😋

      Purple’s the opposite of yellow, so it’s like purple shampoo to take the grassiness out of blonde or gray hair.

    Wow. That's a great tip for whitening the butter cream. Also, dissolving the ingredients sugar.
    Mum used to just add it straight to the butter and it was always grainy.
    Anyhoo Chris. Next week is my Barm Brack bike. I do it every year as a tribute to my Irish roots. I'm a Scot, my great grandpa was Irish.
    I'm off track.
    I'm making Irish stew for friends next week. I have lamb and the veg. Would ot be OK to add Guinness or a splash of Jamesons into the pot?

    Do you re-whip the buttercream after refrigeration? Or let come to room temp and pipe on cupcakes?

      You can just take it out and let it soften at room temp. You could rewhip your speed up the process though ☘️

    The longer you beat tje butter the whiter it will become. There's really no need to do the purple. My buttercream is as white as white can be.

      It will still be slightly off white. Butter brands also vary in color. But hey if it works for you and you’re happy with the result then that’s great ☘️

    I have grown used to seeing you do magic with yeast. When you mentioned that American buttercream is grainy and very sweet I know exactly what you meant because growing up that’s how my mother and everyone else’s mother made it. Are usually make different price change today but I never knew your trick. I don’t care how often I Tilian to your channel I always learn something new whether it’s a small trick or an easier way of doing things or like this something that will always make my life easier this is why I’m glad you turn off on RUclips. Thank you for posting . Yes those cupcakes should go right to your children. They seem like very nice children and Madison all that timing anymore. Have a good week.
