Out of all versions of Megatron this one is probably the most understandable: he was abused as a miner and when he learn his leader Sentinel prime was a frigging fraud and liar killing the real leaders in order to take their position i can honestly understand him. For all that the people know, that footage could have been faked and now you just killed a hero. If you think so then you might just deep down be a Decepticon. It's crazy how this one question can determine whether or not you're an Autobot or Decepticon. The Decepticons are not really evil, most joined Megatron based on his original goal, but have since become blind to his descent into darkness. If you're a Decepticon, it doesn't necessarily mean you're evil, it just shows how far you're willing to go for the greater good.

Seeing him fully embrace becoming Megatron when he lets Orion fall and tears Sentinel in two just makes me tear up, 😢😢which is a sign the people behind this film did something VERY right with D-16 and his start of darkness.
