Dang this was probably one of the greatest best of 5 series ever played. Since then, only Bo5s that have come close to this level of play were probs S7 SKT vs RNG and S8 IG vs KT

I get that things are fun when skt don't win, because it's a change, but if no other group can stop them, we can't do anything about it 🙃

@@likeafallenangel4208 the thing that bugs the me most is that the game is won by objectives and leads not how one team conducts teamfights. It doest matter how fed a kogmaw is. Once that full tank rammus gets an elder buff he solos the adc taking out more or less 50% of the enemy teams damage despite building tank items and not ap. We no longer get to see the legendary 60 mintue games. Once the enemy team gets elder buff you should just ff. My point is the game is won by objectives and leads. Not by teamfight and ingenuity.
So for the finals, SKT should never give Blank a chance to ruin another game. Also, it looks like as long as Duke plays a tanky bruiser instead of Ekko, SKT will win.
But blankis another reason that they beat EDG right?

Ekko was a fine pick and blank isn't that awful. Remember against RNG it was bengi who was horrendous and Blank who played well. The problem was bot couldn't do anything because of the MF, which is on kkoma to make the adjustment after game 2. Once they banned MF, Rox bot couldn't do anything and relied on peanut a lot to win the lane.
yeah vice versa, blank does bad against flash wolves but when bengi comes he does well
Watching in retrospect few series so far in April 2019 have come close to this one. Only series that has been close to this level was MSF vs SKT
Man, I miss this meta and these teams. The chaotic style that's been dominant for like a year now is getting very boring

with 100 of dashes make it impossible for champs without dashes to play and giving a lot of stupid champions like renkton the ability to cancel any shield while nerfing real supports to the ground and making supports who can kill adcs easly and making tanks unplayable while creating champs like akali and qiyana
making the game unplayable if you want to play a champ like janna gnar galio ziggs or whatever you were enjoying in the past and giving mindless player and champions like darius mord brand fizz garen the ability to carry games by they owns not because they are good just because they can kill any champion in the game while staying alive making the team play less of a priority. the game today is just unfair.

Playing your best doesn't make you the best. No sympathies for the losers. He needs fire in his belly, let the hate course through his veins and just get better. Smeb was getting so much recognition as MVP but look at them now. It felt like an empty title after losing Semis to SKT since Smeb and Peanut just got hell shutdown. If you look at the scores, yes they did good, but not as good as their other matches. Get mad, take it all in, let it sink in. Once SKT was on a slump but came back w/ a vengeance and just keeps on getting better even if their roster changes. Get mad, get better. Fuck positive thinking.
Peanut is good, and not hating on him here, but it was PraY who really showed up in this series. he needs more love :(

2016 was one of the best worlds ever, as well as the height of Korea's dominance.
The three best teams were easily SKT, ROX, and SSG in that order. H2K made the semis but honestly was about equal strength to RNG/EDG.
2015 was also Korea-dominated, with SKT easily being the best team in the tournament and KOO Tigers/KT Rolster being 2nd/3rd best. Fnatic and Origen did well to get to semis but honestly looked pretty bad in their semis matchups, making me believe that KT would have beaten those teams in a 5 game series (but it's KT, so I have my doubts).
2018 was a bad year for Korea at worlds, but honestly Korea sent their 1st, 4th and 5th best teams to worlds. Obviously no team including KT (best Korean team at the time) got past quarters, but KT got really unlucky drawing IG (the eventual champs) and gave IG their most competitive series. So IG > KT > Fnatic > G2 in that worlds for me. If Korea sent KZ and Griffin we might have seen more Korean teams in the playoffs.
I think this year, Korea's improved and the top teams can play multiple styles, not just slow/vision based counterpunching. All the playoff teams (SKT, GRF, KZ, SB, DWG) seem really good. I still think Korea is a top 2 region, despite what people from EU might say. Hopefully SKT can knock off IG at MSI and then win worlds 2019.

Personally i think Rox played this series slightly better as a team... But they made two big mistakes in this game... First karma mid- they felt like they need to get all important picks from SKT after SKT stole Ashe and Lee Sin from them, but bcs of that they lack both dmg and tankyness in late game... They tried to repair it early with full dmg on Elise, but its not works late either... And second obviously baron call... They felt like they need to do sth fast obviously cause of their worser late game comp, but cheeky baron call will not work twice in one best of five series... And game at that point was still quite even, they could focus on trying to get lead with superior teamfight, not baron...
If they would pick Victor mid instead of karma this game would be a lot different...
But im not disapointed, cause it was seriously best BO5 between two best team at worlds in final/semifinal in last four years... Even SSB vs SSW wasnt this good and close...
Yea especially reaching late game, the no-pick-tank cost them, but during the pick phase at first I really thought they caught SKT off guard, with the Zyra Jayce lock in. But they definitely needed to crush early game for it to work
The Karma pick is correct, they wanted a kite comp that can work with Jayce (they knew that they would get the Jayce pick after pick/ban). That is a comp with a lot of dmg, both physical and magical, a team comp that can catch+burst down a target, chase, disengage extremely effectively . If you think a comp always need a true tank to work, watch game 2 and 3 of just this series again. ( Rox also win with a similar comp game 1 against EDG as well). Also, you may want to watch game 1 again as well (as you doesn't seem to either watch or understand anything yet), that they ran the viktor, tank top comp in game 1 and lost, HARD, against bengi in the jungle.

I love Zeus. He is not the problem but his ego. I feel like he thought Gwen was not the problem in MSI and that he could countered it so they didn’t ban it but he and they failed. Same thing with worlds he thought he could handle and counter Aatrox so they didn’t ban it but he failed. Without his ego, they could have banned those champs and maybe they are both became 2022 MSI and World Champions.
Two things:
1. Don’t have ego: Ban champions that are obviously giving them a hard time.
2. Draft proactively based on their strength and not reactively on opponent’s. As they say the quote: “Losers focus on winners, winners focus on winning.”
You got the skills and teamwork to have it all. You just have to address these two things. Literally just these two things.

so keen to watch LCK final. So much better tactics and techniques than any other reigns. Just different level of game play. Other games were just boring and not competitive. Hopefully we will be able to watch games like this in final as well
