God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, since pastoring definitely includes preaching, teaching publicly, and exercising spiritual authority. You can believe it or not that is a choice God gives you. I will believe in God's word because it never fails me. It is true yesterday, today and tomorrow.
