I'm back with my summer camp girl talk video, to talk all things periods, hair extensions, lashes and nails whilst at camp!!

How would you set an alarm to get up in the morning if you don’t have a phone?

I've heard you can get digital watches that you can set an alarm on, and some people have suggested to bring a little alarm clock !! Ikea has a super good digital one that I might be bringing when I go next year which has temperature, alarm, clock & timer !!

I bought a cheap battery powered alarm clock and it was a lifesaver! Technically I could have had my phone but I didn’t want to have my alarms on it since I was still with the kids.

Every camp is different, at my camp we’d be allowed to have our phones for things like alarms, but buying an alarm clock is a great idea or a digital watch!!

Is it easy to access painkillers for severe period cramps? Can you keep them on you or do you have to go to the health center and have them administered?

You’ll need to keep them in health centre, you can’t have any medications on you or in the bunk for obvious reasons. At my camp though we have little cubbys in the health centre where we can keep all our medications and we can go and get it at any time of the day!
