The Whole Nine Yards FULL MOVIE WATCH-ALONG @ www.patreon.com/posts/91984111
Every movie that Jonathan Lynn directed has the movie’s name somewhere in the dialogue of the film. It’s his trademark.
This is one of those movies I wished more people reacted to. Matthew Perry & Bruce Willis were absolutely gold together! This is without a doubt my favorite Matthew Perry movie. I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. Hope you do the sequel as well.
Way too many people sleep on just how hilarious this movie is, and Matthew Perry as a physical comic - almost Jim Carrey league!
@@Mister_Samsonite agreed!
Matthew Perry was the greatest at pratfalls. You give him props and he can make magic with them. Michael Clarke Duncan is amazing big guy. He looks like a big tough guy but is such a cuddly bear. He was great in the tv series The Finder. It’s also sad what happened to Bruce Willis. No human should have to go through that.
RIP, Matthew Perry and Michael Clarke Duncan.
One of my favorite movies ever
Awesome reaction! RIP Matthew and Michael.
So glad to see this, this was one of my brother's and mine fave comfort films when we were teens.
Matthew Perry's slapstick comedy was something else man 😂 I love it so much.
fun fact. the reason bruce was on friends, is because bruce thought the movie wasnt gonna do well. matthew made him a bet that if the movie does well he has to appear on friends.
Loved your reaction to this movie, Matthew Perry is one of my favorite actors. Like most I first experienced his comedic talent on "Friends". I would love to see a reaction to another of his movies, provided you have not already seen it. Which is the 1999 film "Three To Tango", I am sure you will enjoy it.
2:10. Yes, SOMEBODY needs to react to Get Shorty!!!
Vanessa hasn't seen it, so it's on our list.
@@LatetotheParty outstanding. I can't wait!
Now it's time for "The Whole Ten Yards" (2004) :)
Studio 60 on Sunset Strip is such an underrated Matthew Perry TV series; much more dramatic role for Perry. Amanda Peet was in that too. Shame it only lasted one series.
Her reaction when he ran around the car to let Yanni in. 😂😂😂😂
So good!
So excited for this reaction! 😊
RIP always to Matthew Perry(I'm still trying to wrap my head around that) & to Michael Clarke Duncan!!!
This is such a great movie! It's always one that I would put on the dvr whenever I need a good laugh.
The on-screen chemistry between Matthew Perry and Bruce Willis is fantastic. And of course, Michael Clarke Duncan is also fantastic.
The scenes when Oz returns to Montreal, and finds Jimmy in the hotel room. That whole thing with Oz running into Frankie over and over was hilarious. And the scene in the jazz club with Oz, Jimmy, and Frankie have always been a couple of my favorite scenes. There's just so many great moments in this movie.
Fun Fact: Bruce Willis' guest spot on "Friends" was all due to this movie. The story goes that Matthew Perry bet Bruce Willis that this movie would debut at the top of the box office when it released. If that happened, Bruce had to make a guest spot on "Friends". Bruce Willis took the bet. And this movie debuted at the top, and stayed there for several weeks. Giving us the Bruce Willis' 3 episode story arc on "Friends" in season 6.
As I mentioned before on Twitter, I very highly recommend the sequel "The Whole Ten Yards" as well. It's a great wrap up for the characters.
Looking forward to the next reaction. 😊
The whole 10 yards is just as good. There should really be more reactions to these movies. Chandler was definitely the funniest on friends. RIP Matt
The bad guys in the sequel are way too stupid.. Other than that, it's good 🙂
21:29 seeing you guys laugh that hard made my day! one of my fav reactors 🤍
1st date was The Whole Nine Yards. I didn’t watch Friends until I saw Matthew Perry in this movie. Underrated comedian. He had such great timing. He should’ve gotten more opportunities.
Almost heroes and Whole Ten Yards….Yes Please!!! :)
A nice tribute to Matthew Perry in the best way possible - laughing your ass off.
I wonder how long Robert had to keep the movie on pause 'til Vanessa stopped cry-laughing? 😂😂
I DO REMEMBER THE WINDOW SCENE. HOPE BRUCE IS DOING WELL & REST IN PEACE MATT.
Agreed😊
Bruce is non verbal now unfortunately.
Oh. My. Goodness! What an amazing reaction. Although there was a brief concern that Vanessa would suffer a coronary! 😂 Y’all made me laugh more than the film. Thank you. For the fun & for sharing.
Long long time ago for the first time I saw in Russian language.
But nowadays I speak English well, I luv more in original American English.
I L🤍VE Matthew Perry/Chandler/Dr.Oz/Ron Clark - you name it!
Hopefully he is in Heaven, no more pain for him 🙏🏻😭🤍🪽🪽🙏🏻
I can't wait! This is my favorite Perry movie
DOES THIS SLIDE?!
Hilarious movie! You guys should watch 17 Again. Another funny one.
I forgot how funny this is. I love when Bruce throws him a drink and it just flies by him.
The Whole 10 Yards is good too.
This makes me wonder, with Bruce Willis condition is he aware with what happened to Perry?😢
An instant classic and imo Mattys best movie he was holarious in this gem. Bruce Willis was great as well.
Bruce Willis didn't think this movie would go anywhere. Matt made a bet that it would and, when it did, Bruce payed off by making an appearance on Friends.
Which brought Bruce btw. also a couple of bucks, right Herr Kessler? Greetings from where Bruce was born and your ancestors came from...
Good lord, Amanda Pete is beautiful 😢
The whole 10 yards is pretty good too.
I hope you'll do WHOLE 10, plus FOOLS RUSH IN... and whatever else. (Wow - no one EVER mentions BIG TROUBLE or CLOAK & DAGGER! Much less Dabney's fun SHORT TIME as the detective who needs to die on-duty for the money. Another most-excellent crime-comedy tale.) PS... junk the Eye Makeup. I'd rather you laugh/cry freely without agony or kleenex.
A great movie ftom the man who gave us CLUE and MY COUSIN VINNY, with the reuniting of Bruce Willis and the late Michael Clarke Duncan, and the comedy genius of the late great Matthew Perry.
She laughed as much as I did when I first saw this.
_"New_ Jersey?"
"Is there any other?"
Well, yeah. Just like New Hampshire and New York (and its previous name, New Amsterdam) and literally every other _New_ Anything in _New England,_ New Jersey got its name because colonizers weren't creative enough to name their conquered something different.
Awn! I remember loving this movie when it came out.. I've been wanting to rewatch this for a while now, and I feel like I need to do it now considering what just happened.. But glad to see this movie get some love on RUclips! :D
I watched this movie over and over while going through a horrible time in my life. It holds a special place in my heart 💝
You should check out the second one "The Whole Ten Yards". It's rare for the sequel to be as good as the first one, but it definitely is lmao
Enjoy the sequel. The Whole 10 Yards 😂😅
Watching this movie is triple sad now
Because of the three main leads
The recent death of Matthew Perry
The death of Michael Clarke Duncan
And the situation with Bruce Willis
Such an awesome underrated movi
Love the Paulie Shore Son in Law shirt, especially since you were talking Thanksgiving movies.
i love matthew perry
if havent seen it and against others thoughts on the film i loved Hudson Hawk with Bruce Willis and Danny Aiello for a comedy. #BunnyBallBall
Thank you for this. After the day ive had it needed this. I havent laughed so hard it anything in a while.
"...look at me, goosebumps!"
Nice one. Loved yer enthusiasm during this watchalong. 😂😂😂
R.I.P. ...Perry was great actor, my favorite in Friends cast,
I don't know how this movie wasn't much more popular
another with Perry - same vibe
Three to Tango
1999
04:13 17:34 21:15 I think after getting in Yanni says "I've got the same car"
You should definitely react to the whole 10 yards
I watched this movie as a kid and the glass door scene lives in my head rent free ever since 😂😂
One of my favorite movies. This and the sequel
Amanda Peete is great Here
Matthew Perry is a one-man human highlight reel in this buried treasure comedy-gold, time-capsule masterpiece. Seriously. It's like a RUclips greatest hits compilation of all his greatest film bits, but it's just the one film. Perry is a man possessed. Like his agent told him to put together a new sizzle reel. What a physical comedian. He didn't often get to show that off at his day job, so here he's really let off his leash. He really did go the whole nine yards cough, I mean, extra mile!
I love it when someone laughs that hard. That was a great reaction to a great movie.
My wife and I saw this in the theater but there was no sound for the first 15 minutes. But we still had a great time.
Loving that Pauly Shore shirt
Damn. I got sad enjoying and laughing at this reaction. RIP Matthew Perry😢
Almost Heroes is one of my favorite films!!!
Chanandler Bong can rest eazy.
LOVE this movie! Great reaction you two, as always. RIP Matthew Perry 💔
I think this is the first time I've watched you guys... and just the brief reference to Big Trouble in the intro makes me like you. It's near impossible to find anyone who's even heard of that, let alone seen it.
Vanessa hasn't seen it, so we'll eventually watch Big Trouble on the channel!
The whole 9 yards and the whole 10 yards are both great! RIP
Son in law shirt = win
I always loved almost heros
I saw it in the movie theater, the beer toss hilarious, RIP Matthew
Really glad to see somebody do a reaction to this movie. I always enjoyed it and it’s sad it took a death for somebody to react to it. The sequel isn’t bad either. Wonder why no other RUclipsrs are reacting to it?
❤❤Amanda Peet & 🇨🇦 Natasha Henstridge. Mathew's physical comedy is off the charts, I always wondered if his freakout in his car at the beginning was a nod to Cameron's in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
I used to own this movie and the sequel on VHS.
Matthew Perry killed it. I loved this entire cast and miss the days where comedies like this were made.
Something fun to know, Bruce Willis had no confidence this film was gonna be good in theaters so Mathew Perry made a bet with him, if the film was a hit in the box office and with critics Bruce would get to be on Friends for a few episodes. Mathew Perry won the bet X3 RIP Mathew Perry you were taken too soon.
I had no business watching this when I was 10 but alas both my parents worked and I was home by myself all the time. HBO ran this ALL the time and it was one of my favorite movies lmao. The part she laughed the hardest when he ran around the car was me too 😂😂😂 All the subtle ways this film shows its comedy was so great. More reactors need to react to this too. RIL to Mathew & Michael
😭🤪🤭🥰🤣🖥
LOVE this movie. Matthew Perry is so freaking funny in it.
consider
Ravenous
Way of the Gun
A new Leaf
The Volunteers
The Craft
Should check out Three to Tango with Perry, Oliver Platt and Neve Cambell.
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😊
Perry and Willis did this movie first, then Willis guest-appeared on Friends (since he lost a bet to Perry). Willis donated his fee to charity but had a blast doing the show.
Honestly, i think The Whole Ten Yards is funnier. There's bits in there that will have you wheeze
Bruce Willis was on “Friends” because of a bet with Matthew Perry on the success of this movie.
I've always loved this movie, stellar cast. I don't have a lot of comedies on DVD but I have this one.
Loved the chemistry between Willis and Perry..But then, many forget they'd worked together on "Friends" when Bruce guest-starred for a couple of episodes. Still one of my fav comedies..Kevin Pollock and Amanda Peet were also hilariuos!!
Great reaction, my other two favorites of his are Three To Tango and Serving Sara. R.I.P Matthew.
2:10 ....Gun Shy, Who is Cletis Tout..... fun genre 🙂🎉
These two films were so great. Perry and Peet paired up again in the Sorken series Studio 60 on Sunset, I absolutely loved that series, wasn't as goofy as 30 rock
The thing about this movie is a lot of it was improvised
In the sequel Bruce is even more funnier
Cant believe Matthew is dead
Vanessa's laughter is so infectious. 😂😂😂
I would really love if you all would watch the second one! It is also absolutely hilarious 🤓
We have it on our list to watch. We will get to it ❤️
Does that mean you'll do Eight Heads in a Dufflebag when Joe pesci goes to sleep?
We've both already seen it.
@@LatetotheParty then do Chandlers unseen Almost Famous movie with Chris farley. If you haven't seen that one go in blind don't read anything don't even research the genre or music or anything and watch it
So many hilarious scenes in this movie. The part where Perry runs around the car to open the door is classic. And my favorite line is “why did you have to move in next to me?” “Do you know what kind of soil I have out here? I’ve been here 2 days and I have little tomato plants..” “ Oh My God.”
Matthew Perry’s physical comedy is underrated in this.
Guys please don’t use the term ‘spaz’ it‘a incredible ableist and offensive.
"Stupid and clumsy" people (dictionary.cambridge's definition) need protection from offensive vernacular? Always utilized that word for the accident prone. What do others use that word for?
@@LatetotheParty also from Cambridge dictionary: “an offensive way of saying “a stupid person”
(short for “spastic”) an offensive way of referring to someone who has cerebral palsy (a condition of the body that makes it difficult to control the muscles).
Regardless of whether you’re using the word “spaz” to describe a disabled or non-disabled person, it is still an ableist term because of its literal and cultural history. “
Please don’t get defensive, I’m a fan and I enjoyed the video, I’m just trying to inform that the term is offensive and hurtful to some of your viewers.
@@charlieb5358 Well, the next time we see someone who is accident prone, clumsy and stupid we'll use another word since a harmless word was utilized for negativity.
We will however continue to use "spasm" and "spastic" in conversations that are proper.
@@LatetotheParty Talk about negativity. Another bit of advice: when a member of a community tries to let you know about a term that is hurtful to said community, try to take it with a bit of grace and maturity, traits you’re obviously lacking.
Hiliarous film😅
"... is there another...?" Of course! The Jersey, without a new, over here in Europe/ England. Greeds from the old world...
There is in fact another Jersey. The one New Jersey was named after.
7:52 Well yeah
Jersey
