Nintendo Switch is an game console series made by Nintendo.
Nintendo was known for battling against hacking and piracy.
In this video, I will attempt to emulate the Nintendo Switch and pirate games.

Fun fact, So it's perfectly legal to play Switch games on your PC with Yuzu or any other emulators, provided you have a modded Switch that you legally purchased the games for and dumped yourself. It is completely legal to emulate video games. The only thing that's illegal is pirating the games.
whats the difference between pirating and emulating again? i mean you get both of them for free (i would assume) so umm yeah.
@@Kenzie1051 Emulation was made for people who dump their LEGALLY obtained games. The people who actually dumped them are using emulation to play their old games in better quality.

Yes i pirate sometimes (but for old games not new.)
But i did dump alot of games on my 3DS, it still isn't pirating,
@@weegeenumberone2 Actually technically even DUMPING is a crime, it conflicts with two laws. I don't think it is a crime because you are allowed 1 digital backup of ANY physical media. (Tbh tho I still pirate on my 3DS lmfao.)
I think the only real flaw here is that 0:51 kinda seems a bit too dramatic
It'd probably be more realistic if it were to just show an error message which says "The anti-piracy check has concluded with negative results. Press A for more details."

This is super realistic, one problem that much people forget though. It is perfectly legal to emulate AS LONG you don't let people buy it.

The console has an actual AP measure: If the console detects a pirated game cartridge is inserted, then the user's Nintendo account would be banned.
Close, but the entire switch would be banned, not the account.
@@lurkz4919 account will be affected as well since I remember a user who modded their nintendo switch got their console banned and they bought brand new nintendo switch and logged into that with same account they used on modded one and on original console it also got automatically banned. So both are affected not only the console
@@tseyksuli4541 Yes, modding a Nintendo Switch will ban the console and brick it. That's why certain models of the Switch are not moddable.

This is actually really good. By the way the part where it said you didnt pass the test felt more like a creepy game than anti piracy it made me laugh :}
The music feels scarier than the anti piracy screen itself tbh
Imagine turning on your Switch for the first time, it shows the logo, the animation and plays the sound, but instead of showing the configuration, it shows the AP screen.

This was probably the most realistic anti-piracy screen I've seen except for the creepy letters after the countdown at 1:32
That screen whould be more entertaining, than getting your switch banned with just an error code. Don't ask me how i know

the end was kinda messy, and the crash at the end before showing the final screen was kinda creepy. idk what was the need to add zalgo text but it's OK. it's just the end that sounded weird and just didn't look that good. also you included the Nintendo Switch startup that occurs when you start it for the very first time, which is kinda not needed. overall a good killscreen! 😁
Especially all the system sound effects button in a reverb filter, and sometimes changes pitch

This is honestly scarier than the creepy pasta anti piracy screens. But around 1:33 did have a slight creepypasta theme but not as much.

@@TheGreatUnknownProductions Yeah but I doubt Nintendo would promote emulation since they have been on a fear campaign to attempt to scare people not to emulate. They do this by threatening to sue companies behind emulation software and when they sue everyone talks about it but when the loose (and they always do) they sweep it under the rug.

What if you only have digital games?
basically every AP screen in a nutshell
run game or app, then crash (restart?)
get booted into AP checker
check the "console" for pirated games and other things
countdown when you have to shut down the console
if not, call the police and/or nintendo

that is not bad to emulate an game on your pc if you purchased already that specific game
when you purchase an game as fisical or digital or the console itself, you are paying a license of that game/console that is now yours, that you are suposed to be free to do anything with that: share,gift,re-sell,never use, or emulate
some companies don't see that bad, but for nintendo is very anti-consumer
read this as an example: you already own an nintendo 64 and sm64, you are free to emulate but for nintendo they see that illegal, even if you even create your own emulator with your own console and game, you can't even do that because nintendo says thats illegal even if you own both things
obviusly if you take the 100% of the original code of an console and paste on a emulator, thats illegal.
that is why the emulator creator use the method of the reverse engineering: just have the original hardware that you paid, then you have to know how every single codeline works them replicate it without using any piece of the og code, and done you are now unable to get destroyed by nintendo
