Heck, they don't even need to show skin and wear heels. 2ne1 anti-fans have always said they're ugly which is this why this song relates to them very well. To me every member is beautiful, they are inspiration for asian girls. They are QUEEN of KPOP.

It was mostly due to YG calling them ugly and especially CL. CL felt down and sad so walked over to Teddy in the studio telling him about how she was feeling and he started to write the song and the rest is history. That's pretty clear to me what kind of dick YHS is. He's a sexist misogynistic asshole that neglected 2NE1 and now he's neglecting both Dara and CL. He has always only cared about Big Bang and they are his cash cows. If he had managed 2NE1 just a bit better, I'm 110% sure that 2NE1 would have outshined BB and they would have earned him a ton of cash. Now when almost all BB are doing their military service, 2NE1 would have taken over the world easily, but he fucked it up on purpose. He probably couldn't stand the thought of beautiful strong women with incredible charisma taking over the world. He's the guy that sabotaged his wifes music career so he could marry her. That says it all.
actually they are the only female kpop group that can wear high heels but still perform and dance well.

If you watched 2NE1tv since their first season you could see the way Teddy takes care of our queens. He knows each color of their voices and leads them to the power for each songs he wrote for them

I guess Teddy gave all his best to 2NE1. Every song Teddy made for 21 has an impact, leaves people some sort of feeling after listening to it, not simply a catchy melody, then nothing remains after the song finishes, like now. And of course, my QUEENs themselves, their charisma and unique color add up to the song makes it a masterpiece.
"I think I'm ugly and nobody wants to love me" hits different when you're young and begin to have interest in people but the society's beauty standards are so "high" and "perfect" and then you have to live knowing them
most kpop female visuals lipsync in live performance even tho they have strong vocals,, but dara? she gives her best always and sing live.. like she said,, she's not talented (which isn't true) but she works hard and gives all her best

I suppose when teddy was writing for 2ne1, he knew that no matter what lyrics or beat or genre he writes, the girls have the voice and range to pull it off. He has a much wider canvas and more colors to work on. It's like write first and the girls will take care of it. That freedom does a lot to creativity.
