My heart went OUT to ya'll when you posted about the hurricane and your wedding. I got married in 2023 and we also had a long engagement. Your heart and soul goes into planning so of course you would be devastated at the hurricane's effects! I did the Half Marathon with my sister. The rain stopped just before our corral started and the temps were fine. We had a great time and are planning a Wine and Dine race for this fall. I run 20-25 miles a week and love the runDisney races.

I just want you to know as someone who works in the wedding industry this is so normal especially in the South! I live in Charleston and we are one of the top cities for destination weddings and we deal with this all the time. Hope y'all have the best time and it's all you hoped for!

As someone whose wedding was during COVID times, I can totally relate on the stress and turmoil y'all went through but I'm glad you all did what was best for you! I also had a super small wedding instead and it was still beautiful and all that mattered to me was that we got married
