At 39, I've been seeking fun ways to express myself creatively without talking so much since I'm an introvert. Definitely will check out videography/filmmaking.

Dude, I'm so freaking proud of you. Babies need fathers. I have been a hobbyist and now that my wife and I have baby number two on the way, we have decided to try to go full-time film making, since it's the only job that I actually enjoy and want to do.
Love your channel and what you have to say, Brandon! I began my career in music, lots of concerts and cool opportunities. In 2009 I arrogantly thought I could shoot my own music videos if I bought nice gear... yeah, that didn't happen. Lol However, I kept working to understand the craft and eventually realized that I preferred video and photography to music. I quit music and never looked back. I've been a full time Director of Photography for over seven years now. I've debated jumping back into my long-abandoned RUclips channel to share my knowledge and experience with others. I love hearing people's stories of how they got into this full-time! You started very young and it's worked out pretty well for you so far! I'm considering moving back to my home country next year so I can actually get film making jobs/freelance etc. Currently I live in Indonesia and I can't get a work permit easily to do that here.
