Honestly this is kinda why im scared of trying to get into a relationship because if I do get cheated on I'm not sure how I'd respond. Cause a part of me fears keeping the "relationship" but acting utterly apathetic
I think the idea of "keeping the relationship but being completely apathetic" is not uncommon at all. I think that maybe the apathy comes from not being able to process things (or perhaps processing so hard everything feels frozen in time)? Only when the girlfriend has been kicked out can the victim find some internal AND external peace.

"i want us to be like we used to be" - the thing with this is that it's imposible, this is a whole new relationship that comes with a huge drawback/burden for the both of them. "You can have all my password and you'll be able to know my location at any time" - i understand the need to be trusted in this situation, but that is just asking for a jailer and not partner that is equal in the relationship. If i were the listener in that situation, i wouldn't want that either. Even if they do reconcile and she really does become the best version of herself the old realtonship will never come back the trust will never be 100% even years after things will never be as they were before. That why I think its better to just leave in such situations unless you're married and have children which makes things a bit harder
This audio reminds me why some men in relationships never open up it's due to because when they do, there girlfriend/wife would make fun of them and use it against them. Anyway this ending feels like one of the worst ones for both sides since for the girlfriend the listener doesn't want to talk to her and the listener is basically giving himself more problems in my opinion. Great video, but getting a reality reminder: That´s actually manipulation by using some psychological cohersion, on the other hand, don´t stay there if you are not 100% FORGIVING that person, that´s also sadistic from our part. That´s why, most people tend to say "it´s better to let it be instead of trying to fix it" (except for especific reasons) but apart from that....what I could advice you is to forgive them BUT move on. Wish the best to that person and don´t marry with the idea of "everyone is bad" it´s literally impossible at least if we take maths into the matter.

Just seeing the title… oh boy. “You got a shawl for that cold shoulder” type of act from the listener. “Why would you let me stay, if you’re gonna act like that?” Alright… listener feels bad for leaving you out to rot, and end up like you did in the last video (eating disorder, vomiting, losing sense of self and control of life). He would likely feel that he’s at fault for not giving you at least some time to get your shit together before leaving you alone (whereas it’s likely a majority of people would pull a video 3 and leave you banging on the door the first chance they get). Listener doesn’t act like he cares? Ex, he probably cares TOO MUCH for his own good! That’s why he’s an apathetic shell. He’s burned out. By you. You did that. You can do tricks on it all you want, trust takes time. It’s not immediate. Oh… listener said he doesn’t care. Oh boy… where’s this gonna go 😮. The ex is trying to improve, and the listener doesn’t act like he notices. He does, but he won’t tell her that. Maybe just testing the water, seeing if she will continue to prove herself or give up? Looks like this is the listener’s way of getting some revenge and seeing if the ex truly is sincere or not. Oh… this is weird. They go eat, do stuff together like a couple would, but then the listener just goes sad when he sees her with him. Agh, at that point, you’re tormenting yourself listener! However, I am stubborn, but even in my stubbornness, I would give her a chance to prove herself at least in the sense that I won't be purposely ignoring her. It defeats the point of even taking her back. If you aren't gonna give her a proper chance, then don't take her back. Sure have conditions you deserve that, but don't give the silent treatment. It is emotionally/mentally draining for both parties that's why in my opinion, over means over. Taking them back means there are new rules and an effort between the two to form a Cooperation to rebuilt what was ruined. It can't be the same as before that's delusional talk. Let the new foundation be built on the why ya'll are even getting back together. I was suprised the listener was being that way towards the cheating ex. Well, to the ex, you reap what you sow. I think revenge is helpful, but it is always used in the wrong way. Great video, but getting a reality reminder: That´s actually manipulation by using some psychological cohersion, on the other hand, don´t stay there if you are not 100% FORGIVING that person, that´s also sadistic from our part. That´s why, most people tend to say "it´s better to let it be instead of trying to fix it" (except for especific reasons) but apart from that....what I could advice you is to forgive them BUT move on. Wish the best to that person and don´t marry with the idea of "everyone is bad" it´s literally impossible at least if we take maths into the matter.

Alright… listener feels bad for leaving you out to rot, and end up like you did in the last video (eating disorder, vomiting, losing sense of self and control of life).
He would likely feel that he’s at fault for not giving you at least some time to get your shit together before leaving you alone (whereas it’s likely a majority of people would pull a video 3 and leave you banging on the door the first chance they get).
Listener doesn’t act like he cares? Ex, he probably cares TOO MUCH for his own good! That’s why he’s an apathetic shell. He’s burned out. By you. You did that.
You can do tricks on it all you want, trust takes time. It’s not immediate.

However, I am stubborn, but even in my stubbornness, I would give her a chance to prove herself at least in the sense that I won't be purposely ignoring her. It defeats the point of even taking her back. If you aren't gonna give her a proper chance, then don't take her back. Sure have conditions you deserve that, but don't give the silent treatment.
It is emotionally/mentally draining for both parties that's why in my opinion, over means over. Taking them back means there are new rules and an effort between the two to form a Cooperation to rebuilt what was ruined. It can't be the same as before that's delusional talk. Let the new foundation be built on the why ya'll are even getting back together.
At least from an outsiders view, the way you delivered this, it does sound like she is sorry and validate her efforts to recover the relationship. Even if she should give up that idea of being how things were before. It's time to make new.
