Thank you to everyone who has watched over the years! And thank you to those two llamas in Arizona who got loose and ended up on the news nine years ago. They had nothing to do with the series but it brought joy to my heart to see them running about. If you've enjoyed our work and want to help support it, consider joining the FilmCow Patreon:

Is Charlie teh unicorn finale still happening?
What ever happened to the lamas with hats video game
Hold up I thought you went by SecretAgentBob in 2009? Am I just going crazy and imagining things or am I just thinking too far back? I absolutely swear that was your channel name at one point in time.
*Replying in an epic piece of animation history*
♥ to all
@@flashmozzgthat happened a long time ago
15 years of screaming then silence. Thanks for the magic, Jason
It's what forgiveness sounds like
Silence is Violence
Thank goodness the children *were present for the boat safety presentation*
Wait, I'm pretty sure they came out more than a year apart? I think "screaming and then silence" is a few years younger than Ep1
I think of this whenever I watch Star Wars and Obi-Wan hears millions of voices crying out.
They really made this happy positive video as if their series didn't transition into the most bleak depressing horror story after 6 episodes
CAAAAAAAARL You're 15 years old! Congratulations!
Haha
tha a old llama
Wow, that means all those handsless white babies are in high school now! Good for them.
And Paul has been gone for 15 years, yet we still hear him say "Caaaaaaaarl" inside our heads.
No way did they all come out in the same year. I remember episodes as releasing like a year apart or something (!?)
I still use "that's my least favorite thing" at least once a week and "thats what forgiveness sounds like" at least 4 times a year.
Thanks for everything!
Fuck, I'm just realizing how many things I quote from this and forgot the source. 😭
Wasn’t expecting llama with hats lore today, but I’m not complaining
Same!
My wife doesn't quite get your sense of humor, but it shaped my early years. The ending to this series consistently brings tears to my eyes.
It was one of those early RUclips videos that had a huge impact on me and my sense of comedy. The entire series it spawned was also excellent.
Also it's amazing to hear unused takes! If you ever decide to post a collection of unused stuff like that I would hugely enjoy it.
Listen to the puppet, FilmCow.
Wasn't expecting arlo here
Omg Arlo
Was not expecting to see Arlo here of all people. Gotta love it though
@@RunstarHomer Sorry, puppet? I don't understand, you mean Arlo? What do you mean, are you saying he's like... some kind shill for a larger organization or something?
Immediately knew what i was calling my alpacas when I got them. Waited a week for the more chaotic to declare himself so I'd have it right. Thanks for the laughs and a name thats easy to exclaim in shock and disappointment.
That's amazing 😂
I'm assuming you also gave them hats 🤔
My family passed this series on to me. Within a week the entire two grades 5 and 6th (not kidding) were saying CARRRRRRL. This series lives on in the sense of humor of the next generations.
10/10. Congrats on getting two grades of an elementary school obsessed with a RUclips series older they are!
I have Carl's hat tattooed on my foot. My sister and I used to love this series. So she got Paul's hat. And even though I dont speak to my sister anymore, I still love those llamas❤
Wanted to make funny that it mirrors Carl and Paul's relationship eventually deteriorating but worried my lack of context will result in causing emotional damage to a stranger...
@Saiyusa lol, not at all.
I love talking shit about her.
To make a lifetime story short:
We never got along as kids, mostly due to our mom divorcing her dad. A small window of teenagehood we were best friends. She "developed" Bipolar or whatever she's calling it now. Had a HUGE fall out. She broke up with her then bf, me and mine sided with him because we found out about all the psycho shit she did to him. Had a BIGGER fall out. Mom got cancer so we called a truce. Mom got better. Years later have kept civil peace by avoidance. Then a few weeks ago she stole something from me. I have now banned her from seeing my kids as a last straw to get her out of my life. She's a nightmare, fake ass, manipulative, abusive, pos. And treats our mother horribly.
Carl is still my favorite film cow character though. And we got the tattoos while we were friends so mine doesn't feel tainted. More like a memory and of what could have been.
@@xxifeelliketacosxx Sounds like you should have gotten the Paul tattoo
My sister is gonna be tattooing Carl and Paul on my body today or tomorrow for my birthday today. These videos were apart of my Childhood and I love em
@@xxifeelliketacosxx I've got a similar toxic relationship with my mom. I don't talk to her anymore, but I like to think she set the perfect example of how NOT to act. I look at her and ask myself what I can do to not end up like that. And the answer is usually be kind and considerate to those around me (also don't do drugs).
As as someone born and raised in Louisiana, learning that Llamas with Hats was conceptualized here makes everything make so much sense.
My friend started calling me Carl one day I assume because of this series, and now I am solely called Carl by everyone I know, most of which genuinely think my name is genuinely Carl. Thank you for my endless suffering, no joke. I spent months picking a name when I came out and it was all worth it for it to be completely disregarded for this.
My favorite thing about Llamas with hats is that it eventually becomes this metaphor for creative drive. You must keep putting media out, you must keep the masses happy, the itch in your head never goes away and all the while you begin to resent it for that exact reason.
Hearing you genuinely have fun with the voice at the end is super heart-warming, I reference Llamas with Hats and some of your other work with friends more or less daily. You've shaped the personalities of so many people!
It's unbelievable, I remember watching all the classics (the FilmCow Criterion Collection) decades ago, then coming back during the pandemic to discover not only that you're still making stuff but that you've STILL got the sauce. Shadowstone Park's your best stuff! Keep bottling that sauce!
didnt excpect yugioh guy to be here lol
Wow it's the tindangler
Growing up with stuff. 15 years later still it existing.. it... it... it cant be put into words
This series really does teach a good lesson you don't need high quality animation, complex narratives, and a well though out world to be memorable.
backhanded comment lol
i was a kid when i first watched Llamas with Hats..i regret nothing. CONGRATS ON 15 YEARS!!!
Oh man it’s good to hear new lines from Chris after all this time
Man, feels like yesterday that lamas with hats was the big thing. Just goes to show that anything can be art. Even lamas with hats 🎩
Here's to another 15 years watching it religiously and introducing it to people that will look at us differently because of that!
Also, it would be awesome to see more of Chris in future videos! He's the best.
I still go back and watch llamas with hats regularly. I share it with my friends that don't know about it and they love it!!
This was my favorite, still watch it here and there
So much has changed in the past 15 years, back then I still had a full head of hair and didn't have arthritis or high blood pressure. This channel has been a constant over the years. I remember when you were known as Secret Agent Bob. I actually thought your name was Bob at first. It was fun watching this series and Charlie the Unicorn grow from a funny one-off joke into an entire series. Back then, we rated videos one to five stars and added to our favorite places. Also, I loved the touch of the use of Canon in D at the end of the video.
Llamas with hats got quoted regularly when I was in the Army, especially, "Carllllllll that kills people!" It still comes up now and then when I talk to those guys.
It’s insane it’s been 15 years! So iconic! Thank you for all the laughs and quotes I’ve repeated over the years.
Thank god they’re celebrating it
I love when content creators make these comemorations for their goofy creations.
this is the best series ever. thank you for these memories.
Llamas with Hats has always been one of my favourite FilmCow creations of all time, and it’s still awesome to this day. Happy anniversary Carl and Paul!
I remember watching the series when I was a kid lol
I loved it
I can quote the entire lamas with hat series. I watched it so much back eighth grade.
I was looking for something to binge today. Every day spent with FilmCow is a good day. Thank you for being a consistent bright spot in my life since childhood.
My best friend and I wouldn't be as close as we are today if we didn't binge the whole series together. Thank you
Happy anniversary to irreversible damage to people who stumbled onto these shorts
llamas with hats, and honestly your entire channel in general played a massive part in the development of my humor growing up. they belong in a museum dedicated to internet history. an entire wing just for the filmcow collection.
i still look at biscoff spread and whisper “it’s made out of fucking cookies”
Wow, can’t believe it’s been so long… a true masterpiece
Idk why this video was such a big thing in my life but I'm still very attached to it and all of the jokes and references between friends that last to this day.
Just a short time ago I rewatched the whole series with my husband. I love llamas with hats and I love you for understanding and respecting the true wonder you guys created.
That "caaaaaaaarl" is ingrained in my brain. Thank you for the laughs as always ❤
I still quote this show on the daily, it will forever live rent free in my head.
It's strange to think I've been watching Filcow for 15 years. Shadowstone Park has been an incredible accumulation of years of great content, and I'm sure they'll be more amazing projects just like it. Here's to the future!
Me and my friend love this series and love randomly quoting it
Fundamental RUclips series. They really do treat content creators like crap anymore, especially in terms of revenue. Lamas Forever.
I’m gonna fucking miss this😭😭😭😭 this is so nostalgic man and I’m so glad that I lived in a time that I could live in a time that this has existed
Happy anniversary! Llamas with hats was my childhood, thanks for doing what you do 💗
Recently showed that video to my coworker whose cat is named Karl and frequently brings her "gifts". Was so thrilled to bring it into someone's life for the first time 🙏
I constantly quote the series, even now. I watched this as a kid, and now I'm glad that you uploaded it. 💜
You've made a lasting memory between me and my brother. I'll cherish the memories of me and him sitting down and laughing like dorks at all your videos especially Llamas with Hats. Thank you FilmCow for being a part of me.
Llamas with hats remains one of my favourite animation series' and always will forever
Man the Llama Series is funny, The ending is just gold.
“Judging by the trajectory of the moon and the sun…” has become common parlance in my life thanks to Llamas With Hats.
I heard about lamas with hats from flipnotes and things just went from there. Glad to see this juggernaut of old RUclips able to celebrate its 15th birthday
15 years is crazy. But still congrats on the funny llamas with hats
I remember watching this when I was a little kid. One of my earliest youtube memories.
Bless you all for blessing us with Llamas with Hats!!
15 YEARS!!! I CANT BELIEVE I WAS WATCHING THIS AT 5 RUclips HAS CAME ALONG WAY. LOVE YOU GUYS!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LLAMAS WITH HATS! I still quote it til this day
Such a fucking gem man. I still go back every once in a while, reminds me of simpler times.
15 years?! That’s like as long as I’ve been alive if you subtracted several years
Wonderful. I've seen the series plenty of times and am bound to watch it again and again still. A masterpiece of art.
I’ve watched this channel since high school and I’m still here. OMG I’m old
I still watch it when I'm having an awful day. Thank you so much x
Childhood man. Hits different.
It's thanks to you (and the artists/modders of Trove) that Llama mounts wear hats in Trove.
I grew up traumatized by this series + channel as a pre-schooler, glad to see it’s still going strong!
There is a memorial to Carl and Paul in the art room at my school. Someone else saw it, thought that it was just some llamas in hats, and made two hippoes in hats right beneath it.
The Llamas with hat's saved my life
You created a timeless classic, then proceeded to make 11 more of them.
Me and my cousin grew up on the funny and sometimes macabre animations like this and maaaaaaany others.
I still go back and watch through LwH every once in a while, and it's around then I also go back and watch all of Klay World.
Thanks for making trama a core memory for me.
Always loved your hit it with a car series with Chris and Nick lol
Didn't expect to wake up to this but glad to see this franchise's heart is still beating
My ex and I memorized the whole first 3 videos when I was in high school. I still love this, and show this to the new generation of kids.
The videos that defined a generations childhood
Hands down my favorite skit. I atill quote it to this day and am overjoyed when someone understands the references 🎉🥂🦙👒🪅
Oh, I remember when these animations first came out and kids at my school were quoting it left and right.
That was a touching story. The world knows you were right.
I absolutely adored Llamas in Hats, it was such a weird but fascinating little series.
Here's to 15 more years of making great stuff :3
Im 17. Thats 2 years older than this. Hope that makes you feel old.
I watched this daily with my older sister when I was young, they were truly bonding videos for us, I would cozy up with my Her and we would just laughhh and laughhh. I still make references to this all the time, it makes me smile even when I'm the only one who gets it :)
My friends still laugh when I quote this show😂 I can’t believe it’s 15 years old! Best of luck on all your future animations~
Dude, this gave me chills. Me and my friends were quoting the Llamas with Hats episode 1 for YEARS and even to this day its not outrageous to think of someone saying "Caaaarl! Das tötet Leute" (which is German for 'that kills people').
Safe to say: you are a piece of my culture. Thank you for creating this masterpiece and bringing me and my friends so much joy with it
This channel is awesome, heres to another 15 years filmcow
Llamas with Hats is a part of my childhood💖 . We need to pull a Disney and make a live-action version
Man that series inspired so much of my writing and taste in horror. Thanks for traumatizing me just enough to be funny.
Funny how a silly little short, that eventually became a long surreal series about stretching something far too long, and ended a long time ago, is still remembered so fondly.
Just goes to show: Something doesn't need to last forever to leave a lasting impact.
I watched this in 2011, but I haven't forgotten it either. I'd love some llamas with hats merch. Stickers would be awesome.
Dang 15 years is a loooonnnngggg time! Congrats!!
Congratulations Caaaaarl!! Have some boat nectar!!
llamas with hats is apart of my childhood and I still always hold love for them even if one of them is a murderer who eats hands
About a month ago, from the laughter, I could instantly tell who all the cool people were at my local grocery store when the dude doing the cooking demo said “Caaarrrrrllllllll” into his microphone.
Damn, llamas with hats came out when I was 15 months old and now it's 15 years old. How time flies. I remember watching the full 12 episode video when it had just came out when I was 8. I feel old even though I'm only 16.
llamas with hats is one of my faves.
I didn’t know I needed a clip of Carl saying “Oh! S***.” but now I have it. Thanks FilmCow.
I have said almost every time that "my tummy has the rumblies that only hands can satisfy" every time my stimach makes noise without fail
Seeing an anniversary video for this makes me happy
That bud was so popular it got parodied in the Brony fandom so many times-
Lyra and Dan was easily my favorite
Wow, 15 years huh. I remember watching them in grade school. Such good memories, made me laugh
I like how the background music is, that classical piece that plays at the end. That particular classical piece is weirdly good at conveying encroaching insanity.
