I love this show and what these young ladies are doing!!! When I watch it I’m screaming at the television like hurry up girl they coming!!! Y’all drive faster!!! Priscilla where you at?! Hurry!!! Run!!!
Non of this is real. It’s all staged. I have close family and friends that have been in these communities. There’s no fear or danger. They just leave. They are kinda looked down on but they don’t even really shun you. This is drama and laughable at that. There’s less abuse in the families than in the catholic or Mormon churches because the people have been raised to fear the law. They are terrified that just living as a family will get them in jail. It naturally attracts freaks who want the “privilege” of more than one woman before they realize they have to financially support the leaders and their families.... the leaders are not powerful they are pretty socially backward. Once in a while there’s a big creep that gets spotlighted for his crimes that are admittedly horrendous but it only happens every so often on the news because that’s truly all there is. I’m not even trying to defend the crooked backwards ways these people think but they are not even prisoners of the mind they are just typically either mentally lazy or genuine nice people who want a community and they choose this life. Then there are a few who are happy and seem normal.
Mental abuse or simple freedom deprivation can also cause people to be scared like that. Not all abuse is physical, all form of it are bad enough on their own.
Sometimes emotional and mental abuse and brainwashing/gaslighting can be a million times worse 😢 physical is scary and may scar but emotionally can scar you for life.
I’m in love with this show and i admire what these ladies are doing but idk if this show is scripted or something cause at times it feels like it idk what y’all think fake or not
Uprooting your life, going against the religion engrained in you for all of your life, and doing so while surrounded by people who could change the turnout… if that isn’t a dramatic moment in your life, what would be? I say the show depicts the panic the way it feels in the moment.
I want Jessica and her sisters to know in helping people escape they are doing God's will. If you ask for His help He will send an army of angels to protect all of you.
Most girls are actually married off to uncles, cousins, and brother-in-laws (usually 40-50+ years old) at around 14-15, not 18, and are forced to have as many kids as possible
Margarita B. Just what the title says- it’s about escaping Polygamy and the girls who have left previously and now help kids who want to leave get out of the cult known as the FLDS.
The church has people everywhere in the state including law enforcement, so i think the likley hood of them getting caught drops dramatically when there out of the state. But it could be another reason🤷♀️
forced back, beaten, sent to institute, raped, forced to marry under age, and killed. Recently Governor Herbert changed the law the anti bigamy bill prohibits the cults in the area from taking wives under the age of 18 and if any of these cults try marrying teenagers or children the girls must be emancipated. Jessica and the girls have a safe house in Salt Lake they can go to but this is 2015 Kingstons and Jeffs are still in power and the AUB, Knight's, and the Blades are not extinct so Pricilla is on her own until Utah changes the law.
She went to live with a friend of Colleen's who has helped several others in similar situations. She's now a beautiful young adult who has done very well for herself in the field of cosmetology.
juniper quaintrelle I have seen them contact through letters but not giving to much details and names so if they are found no one can get them in trouble
There's no time for that. The Order has eyes everywhere and the longer they stay in the area, the less likely it would be that they would get away from The Order.
they're mostly held down and physically restrained, sent to isolation to be 'brainwashed' I.e gas lighted, guilt tripped, physically abused or disowned from family
They are allowed to leave the cult. Priscilla escaped that way because las Vegas has less strict laws about emancipation. In Utah, they wouldn't allow minors to escape unless it is an adult or a service with them
There’s no need to escape if there isn’t anyone going to physically harass and assault you and the need to change homes. These girls have to get help and change their whole life. Becoming faithful after being an atheist doesn’t have anyone stopping you but yourself. Maybe you’ll lose some friends or family but by no means is it to the extent of these cults and all the heavily indoctrinated members.
Nongdam-iya농담이야 most atheists believe that there is no god or devil or they don't believe in religion and instead they choose logic or science. The religion that people should be escaping is satanism. Since some satanists have the belief of equality and some believe in violence or sacrifice.
This is so dramatic and unrealistic. If you’re falling for this lol 😆. No one really has to do all this covert stuff in the dark. When you grow up in these communities you just leave they are often glad you are gone. Ha ha ha ha!! But hey some emotional kid gets a bit of attention and drama. Enjoy their emotional spotlight.
It's obvious you don't know how it is to leave a cult, no matter your age. They try to keep you at any cost. Even unlawfully. They follow you, threaten you, put pressure on you, might lock you up, literally anything.
They all act like and portray like the flds is going to come charging out like Knights. When in actuality I've only ever seen it one time on their show where they were just followed around in cars they were never physical or anything. I think these people like to play off like they're worse than what they really are. They just tried to protect their own like we do. Their God Squad is like our police. What's the big deal. Leave them alone and let them practice what and how they want
@@meeradavies9732 no I prob dont know everything. But I do believe in allowing people to live the way they want to and keep my opinions out of it. U dont see them interfering with our beliefs and our religion do u? No! So why dont we learn to do the same with them???

The dramatic voice over when she escapes ffs 😩😂
literally the worst one I've ever heard
its so unneeded .. why did they do that
@@alanjenko555the producers litterally pushed them to act, unfortunately

I would think there is physical abuse involved if they are this scared.
There is they do horrible stuff to them

Their must be
The sisters talk about it a lot in the episodes. It’s absolutely terrifying.
The added audia makes me gring! 🤣🤣😂

The show itself is real but a lot of the scenes are done with a voice over. All the "run run, just run, where are you" was edited in after
Sara Wachtel ahh ok I see that makes sense
I think the stories are real but what we are seeing on screen is recreated and scripted.
i'd assume they do voiceovers because some of the original audio may be dodgy or hard to understand because they're whispering/running/etc.
@@no.1fuzzwaldfan727 that's a good point.
Love how these girls are so happy when Priscilla gets out🤗🤗🤗😍😘😀
These 3 women are angels sad this all ended

A bit over dramatic but overall it’s pretty interesting

God bless you women helping these babies 🙏
What’s this show focusing on? I’m not aware of these kind of situations.
Helping people escape forced and multiple marriages
The girls are raped through out their childhood then married to their couzins or uncles once they are 18

Do you have issues with listening & simple comprehension??
Run priscilla run !!!!
What happens after she is outside the state area...
Being a minor she could be forced to return
Hopefully they look at her as a run away she stays hidden a lil bit until her 18th birthday and by that time it’s too late !

Anyone know how the women trying to escape contact the women who help them?
juniper quaintrelle maybe message them on social media ?

This is so fake
Why they need to escape that way?Are they not allowed ,to U know just leave that cult religion?
They can’t just leavr
They can't just leave they're literally forced to stay there
they're mostly held down and physically restrained, sent to isolation to be 'brainwashed' I.e gas lighted, guilt tripped, physically abused or disowned from family
