FBT is on full cliping, RCF is just starting clip, big difference. They have differnet input sensitivity. You should set input on both speakers to max, and when they start cliping, slowly decrease gain to the point when cliping stops on both speakers. Then measure, and on dj mixer, you should set output to mono.

Fbt vince nettamente. Ho avuto art rcf evomaxx fbt mackie srm qsc kw montarbo. Fbt sempre qualche db in più e tenuta per ore sempre allo stesso livello di quando la accendi. Avere un pizzico di volume in più non guasta mai. La timbrica e il sound sono soggettivi, il volume e la prestazione per ore sono soggettivi e insindacabili. Fbt top
hola, tengo una caja de FBT 18 sa y no lo se donde esta 0 db....por ejemple una caja de RCF 715 tiene 0 db entre 2-3 el fbt tiene que estar potentiometro la zero ,en el medio o donde .....gracias
Questo non è un test da confronto,ma è puro casino al limite da spaccare un woofer.La RCF puo' raggiungere piu' Spl grazie al fatto che è accordata molto sui medio alti meno nei bassi e quindi sembra avere piu' pressione.La FBT invece ha un suono molto piu' equilibrato nelle medio alte frequenze e scavano piu' nei bassi quindi un suono piu' rotondo rispetto alle RCF che hanno un suono piu' squillante.Per farla breve a mio gusto personale le FBT hanno un suono piu' caldo quindi leggermente meno pressione mentre L'RCF un suono piu' freddo ma leggermente piu' pressione.QUESTO è UN TEST!

Recently I had the possibility to compare the QSC K12 with RCF ART 715 mk 2 - and K12 sounds better , the kick is better, the voice is more present, the dispersion better, you have tilt feature. The highs on the RFC are more shrill, harsh, strident than K12. In live application, the voice is clearer using K12, on the RCF 715 art mk 2 you have a WOOOUMM given by the resonance of the box. QSC sounds a little bit louder than RFC 715 mk 2. So probably the RCF 712 is weaker than 715. The only good thing for RCF 715 is that they sound warmer, since they have always a DSP on. I forgot to mention that the K12's BASS better than RCF 715 BASS ... even the 715 has a 15" woofer. This was quite strange to me.
Silviu Tanase I thought it was just me who thought this. I find RCF speakers to be harsh sounding, I know other DJs who find the same problem. QSC and EV are very nice sounding brands in my opinion.. I always get the best feedback off those, I do own some RCF speakers but they just don't sound as good at all.

I have the 712 and they truely are a great speaker, and can handle a bit on their own without subs too !

Ho anche yamaha dxr. Suono molto bello volume scarsissimo va in clip quando una fbt sta a metà dello sforzo

Te recomiendo que no manejes mas del 50% en cajas amplificadas, solo las cajas pasivas debes darle full, las activas siempre a 0 dbs
