    First shot is the Curl Curl. First of the big ladies to be decommissioned and scrapped. She sat there from 1961 and was eventually stripped down to the hull. Joined by her sister the Dee Why right alongside her in 1974. The Dee Why sat for a few years intact.

    And just 2 years after they planned 6 new ferries, the first of 7, Lady Cutler entered service, the fact of the matter is, 5 of these ferries are in useable condition. 1 was scrapped and one is a houseboat.
