I’m so happy they used this tune in Breath Of The Wild. You can hear it at stables when Kass is there, he plays it on his accordion. And the second place is at the horse god fountain.
When I was a little girl, every time I turned the game on, I'd make sure to set aside a few minutes at Lon Lon Ranch, just to hear this song. Epona's Song just brings back my childhood for a few moments. I'm now 18 years old, and this is still my favorite song in the whole Zelda series.
The lyrics are really simple once you get down to it: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOO OO O O OOOOOOOOO X infinity
I loved this ranch, getting in lon lon ranch just before dusk, when the sky was orange you know? Then you just listen to malon singing, I spent hours just sitting in front of my tv without doing anything other than humming this with my eyes closed. Peaceful...
It was really a nice, simple, genius touch to have her there singing alone. Just her and her poppas ranch. She seemed happy to be living such a simple and humble life. Without music, this game would just not have been as magical is it is. So much feels with just some simply places 64 bit sounds
I whistled this song to my horse I have been whistling it to her for 1 weak now Everytime I come home and I whistle this song she comes running to me this is officially my horses song XD it's really cute though
The sweet sound of home. Coming back and remembering who you were, who you are now. Remembering who you loved, and maybe still love. This honestly just brings a tear to my eye. Graduating this year and can’t help but sit out at night, turn this on, and just sing along.
I remembered this song when I was looking in my phone for a nice tone to wake up in the morning :) It's so peaceful, it will not make me get mad for waking up so early :)
Playing Tears of the kingdom and every time I'm riding on the back of epona's back I keep humming this... We've come a long way since OOT but in the ends it's all the same great time.
I dont know what this song did to me but it holds such strong memories with me that i couldnt help but start crying listening to it. Remembering when times were much more simple as a kid, had all my cousins alive, and playing the N64 in my room. God i miss those days.
Dammmn this hit hard. Sleepovers with my best friend playing ocarina of time all night. Man those were the days...why'd ya have to change so much bro 😭 miss you.
I hadn't played OoT for years after playing it as a kid. I had fun but gaming didn't really stick with me until I got into high school. Kept telling myself I would try out my N64 again but didn't get around to it until after I graduated. Finally I decided to dust off my N64, slap in OoT, and start a new game. Slowly it started to come back to me. The childlike atmosphere of Kokiri Forest, the grand sense of a new journey as I entered Hyrule Fields, the warm, homey feeling of LonLon Ranch, the hustle-and-bustle of Castle Town, and the feeling of accomplishment from completing every quest laid upon my shoulders. Minute by minute, dungeon by dungeon, I was filled with a sense of childlike wonder and fun that I hadn't felt it what seemed like ages. I admit, with slight embarrassment, that I got a little choked up when I finished it. I won't claim that it's the "best game ever", but it's certainly my favorite game of all time.
This is one of my all time favorite tunes. And for good reason. After a stressful day this tune calms the nerves and relaxes. It always makes me think I'm there at the ranch watching the clouds roll by with not a care in the world. I sometimes tear up from listening to this song, not from sadness but from euphoria. This just shows how powerful the Music of Videogames can be.
I may be 13, but life’s a drag. I think the best thing to do is to sit outside every evening and listen to this while watch the sunset. Enjoy every moment of life while we still can.
Reading everyone's comments while listening this is enough to make a grown man in tears, I'm very happy to see many people love this ❤. Well around a decade ago i used to play it and completed it multiple times and still love it, this melody is always in my mind whenever i need peace. Thank god i played this beautiful game and knows this super beautiful melody. 2024.01.29💙
This song reminds me of when I was super close with my mom. She used to come to my room (sometimes sneaking snacks) and play Zelda while I sat and watched in awe of the amazing game Now I’m 14 and watching mom play breath of the wild, the same feeling of wonder, had come back. This series made me so happy, and it has again. :)
Makes me tear up this. Reminiscing of the time when I was a happy boy when my grandad was still alive who bought me this game when it came out. Oh how times were simpler then. X
This one goes out to one of my friends that I no longer speak to. Whenever we hung out this song would play in my head for some reason. Perhaps because of how peacful it was. wish things could've gone differently and I hope you're doing well. I'll always be filled with regret of my actions....
I currently sing this song to my daughter. It is the best lullaby ever. She was diagnosed with leukemia last week and this song was what I sang previously to make her fall asleep. It calms her instantly regardless of what is happening.
+124VAM Honestly I don't because the vast majority of corn Americans consume is made into cheap simple sugars and carbs that contribute to the obesity epidemic that kills 300,000 people every year... so maybe Tennessee then.

I remember when my parents got me and my brother a 3ds, she bought this game for herself. she introduced me to it, though, because I had already loved magic and fictional stuff like that and, oh my, would this game be like finding water in a desert. (when I got older). I got stuck on the water temple and then just dropped the game and had my mom finish it all for me lol, but only recently did i actually sit down, play the game and finish it fully cuz i was able to really appreciate and understand the story now that I'm older but man, did I cry like a baby at this song, my first favorite song in any video game ever, at the ending, and at the whole game in general. I still love magical things and my mom is concerned with my obsession with the Zelda franchise lol
Reminds me of care free moments and a worry free life. I remember watching my mom play this on n64 not really enjoying most of the game except the music and the fishing and everytime the horse race was a thing i was the obly person in the house to win (watched her play many times and beat the game) my mom is still here she is 72 and just beat the game again probably for the 40th time like a month ago. Duuude... listening to this when im older, it makes me miss my childhood... playing Ocarina of time on the N-64 for the first time... I miss those days
oh sweet tune from the past, such memories embedded within each note, life was way simpler there was magic to be observed all around due to the little that had gone before, now it's all gone, it lays within our retrospective which grows stronger every day. It seems nowadays I'm looking back over my shoulder nearly all the time it's very nice to have these neat pieces of music that hold such strong feelings

oh sweet tune from the past, such memories embedded within each note, life was way simpler there was magic to be observed all around due to the little that had gone before, now it's all gone, it lays within our retrospective which grows stronger every day. It seems nowadays I'm looking back over my shoulder nearly all the time it's very nice to have these neat pieces of music that hold such strong feelings
