first heard this song on Fifa 09, but one day all of a sudden I heard it again playing on Sims 3. I freaked out, the memories :')

I asked Fredrik, the lead singer and writer about this song a couple of months back. He said it was pretty hard to write an interesting, compelling, cohesive song using only Talking Heads song and album titles. I would think it would be.

lmao the tune pops up in my head suddenly, but all I can remember are vague mv frames and it's from sims and "data" is in somewhere, so I just search a bunch of random keywords like: orange jumpsuit, lyrics in lyrics, lyrics about song titles... anyway I'm glad I'm here, finally.
This is certainly on Sims 3, though of course it was not written for Sims 3. Its in the "Custom Music" folder along with some other songs. This is the only song that shipped with the game that I kept in the folder when I added my own MP3 files.
It's in the Custom Music. Go to Eletronic Arts/TheSims3/CustomMusic.
And in the game there is this song on the radio station :)

No, this is not off sims 3. It might be in sims 3, but Datarock didn't write it specifically for the game. Same with FIFA.
Oooh you gotta listen to the White Stripes! They're different from this band, though... I don't see an obvious similarity except the parts of this song that have that steady beat, like at the end.

.....and yes they have confessed their great love for Devo and Talking Heads. Also, Inspiral Carpets, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Ride, and other brit-pop of that time.....I can hear some of each of those in various songs, but I've never heard The White Stripes. The Stripes by the way are peppermint - red and white.....Datarock is red.
