Morrow was a beautifully balanced and effortless sprinter, even more so than Owens or Carl Lewis. It was once said that he looked like a wheel rolling down the track and looking at this video one can see why. The mind boggles at what he would have achieved on today's rubberised, magic carpets
My good friend Milt Campbell RIP won the Gold in the Decathlon at the 56 Olympics! He was the first African American to win the Gold beating out the favorite Rafer Johnson! He was also a great Motivational Speaker and influenced a lot of inner city youth.

very good, I see the wikipedia-intray... have you earned some of his sports talent? I see the german wikipedia-side: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Stanfield
Morrow will always remain underrated ...as does Dave sime .....had either of these men been born a generation later and run on modern tracks in and not in rudimentary spikes .....but Bobby morrow seems to have been A very empathetic individual ..whereas sime not so .....
@shirley tompkins 60 was the last non steroid sprint. If youl look at jesse owens or armin hary, they are slim and one doesnt see the muscles of later sprinters like bob hayes or jim Hines
RIP Bobby Morrow. A most under rated sprinter

Wonderful to watch this. Bobby Morrow - an all-time great!
Thank you for saying that, I am his 4th cousin RIP cuz
I just heard the sad news of his passing. Condolences to all his family and friends.
I love his form. Relaxed but purposeful. No failing of arms. No wasted motion. I think that's the biggest reason he won.
Biggest reason he won ...was talent and training ..
Wow. They need to make a movie about these guys.
Wow.
notice, the slim bodies of these guys, NO DRUGS in those days to make them look like hulks, get the message...
Carl lewis was slim bud yet was juiced , explain that?
@@Chopper650 His positives were not steroids, they were stimulants.

I am Bobby Morrow's daughter! Where did you get this? I have never seen this clip before. Great stuff! Thank you for posting.
Dear Ms.Kelton,
Isn't the Internet a great invention; thanks for your comment.
.
Cheers,
Rebecca.
It's an honour, Ms Kelton, to hear your acknowledgment and to see your father make a wonderful talented and God given contribution.
Elizabeth Kelton no your not youd be dead😂 nice try
Why would you say such an idiotic thing Josue? Thankfully, Bobby Morrow is still alive and only 82, let alone his daughter.
I wa5ch that 1956 100 final all the time. Just marvel at the fluid form of your dad. Have never seen anything like it since. I'm from Harlingen.
Some people say Greene invented drive phase but all the runners in the video drive at the start
And what the US Olympic committee did to him in 1960 is unforgivable ..
Rest in peace Bobby
Does anyone know if there are any clear videos of Bob Hayes 4x100 run in the 1964 Olympics?
