    RIP Bobby Morrow. A most under rated sprinter

  • @raferjohnson1
    @raferjohnson1 6 лет назад +13

    Morrow was a beautifully balanced and effortless sprinter, even more so than Owens or Carl Lewis. It was once said that he looked like a wheel rolling down the track and looking at this video one can see why. The mind boggles at what he would have achieved on today's rubberised, magic carpets

    I love his form. Relaxed but purposeful. No failing of arms. No wasted motion. I think that's the biggest reason he won.

    Morrow will always remain underrated ...as does Dave sime .....had either of these men been born a generation later and run on modern tracks in and not in rudimentary spikes .....but Bobby morrow seems to have been A very empathetic individual ..whereas sime not so .....

      60 was the last non steroid sprint.
      If youl look at jesse owens or armin hary, they are slim and one doesnt see the muscles of later sprinters like bob hayes or jim Hines
