Yes! It is why I hate working with women. My best jobs were when I was working mostly with men. No BS. Just work and try to get through the day while trying to have fun. I want to gouge my eyes out when working with women.

Men have the “good old boys club”, we have no such collective loyalty, we will scratch each other’s eyes out, throw one another under the bus and under cut each other gleefully. Much has been made of male bosses who have coerced sexual favours from female underlings and that is disgusting but there is, just as disgustingly, always the long legged cutie who is perfectly happy to use her charms to escape onerous work assignments or to get promoted over her workmates. Over a very long career in the workplace I can say that while financial compensation for women has improved substantially and workplaces are, to a great extent more fair and even handed than before certain things don’t change. Perhaps this is not institutional disparities created by the male dominated hierarchy blah blah blah, sorry, Lord I hate that blather, but merely a product of human nature which is only going to bend to societal mandates so far. The age old and genetically embedded, hormonally driven dynamic between men and women always seems to keep its influence over behaviours, perhaps it always will.

I studied philosophy, so my education was about learning how to think about what a thought is. Surprisingly non-political subject to study, as long as you stay away from the social sciences.

I agree. It’s so sad to witness that some Americans see themselves as racists and oppressors; yet, they welcome immigrants from all over the world. We have the same opportunities regardless of our gender, race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, or sexual preference. We need to own our weaknesses instead of playing the victim.

Just watching the videos from Kabul makes me realize how fortunate I am to have been born in and to live in this GREAT country. We allow differences of opinion here and I believe this last has renewed a passion in me to be more involved rather than taking freedom for granted.
We have many problems, I know but I am going to start spending more time trying to find acceptable solutions because this country is more important to me than it has ever been.

A woman from the 70s once remarked that equal pay for women and men in a sexist society would lock out women from jobs since men would be hired. Allowing lower pay for women in that period would allow a woman to prove herself in such jobs, and thus change men's thinking by real experience.

It's not a coincidence that wages have been stagnant since the 70s...once women joined the workforce en masse, it created a surplus of workers...high supply of workers means the employers can keep wages low and replace you effortlessly.
This generation has no self respect. Accepting victimhood (blaming everyone else for your personal failures, being cowardly, and complaining about everything but putting no effort forth to improve yourself) seems to be a badge of honor these days. College was great if you’re a feisty conservative. You learn to evaluate positions more effectively. I embarrassed one of my professors into quitting her presentation on global warming midway through just by asking pointed questions.

I went to college in the mid 90's where tuition was $750 a semester and minimum wage was $4.25.
Now, I just found out a semester at my Alma cost $4,300! WOW! We have millions of students across the country getting Pell grants to try to be an artist, painter, drawer, sculptist? And these people are just there to experience the "college experience", and I know because that's what I did.
So maybe these people aren't like you there to just experience the 'experience' A good artist can make hundreds of thousands..
Going to community college at about the same time as you, it was $540 a term plus books. WAY higher now! I feel for the kids of today - I hope more of them listen to Mike Rowe and get useful skills instead!

I'm a woman, came here from a former soviet union republic when I was 20 16 year ago and MADE IT in America. Thank you God for this country and all the opportunities it provides to those who are willing to work for it. No preferential treatment, no oppression. Just hard work, determination and responsibility.

I personally have never been there but as a veteran I have seen a big chunk of the world and let me just say American women have it better than anywhere else in the world. Even Ihan Omar left the kind of place like Afghanistan (Somalia) where women are beaten for just about any reason.
I get I am a man but like many veterans we fought for the freedom our country enjoys. Freedom of speech (try that in Afghanistan). Freedom of the press, freedom to worship as I please again try this in any middle eastern country.

"Why am I so lucky to have this life?" - I am asking myself the same question but somewhere, someone probably went before me, battled and maybe died for me to have this life.
When I think about what other people in other countries and cultures have to go through to survive I thank God I was born in America, but I feel so sorry for the young people coming up now with all of the garbage going on. It is my fervent prayer that they will survive and turn things back around the way it was for my generation. I pray it for their sake.

@@Bennahr_Fett no, but generally women are given the least physically demanding tasks when it comes to warehouse jobs...which is definitely not equal pay for equal work. Its more like equal pay for less work...ive had quite a few warehouse jobs...never have I seen a woman throwing 80 lb boxes. Never.
@@jacobz.carson803 Understandable, but I have never even seen one bending stooping reaching and stacking 5 lb boxes onto a pallet or conveyor belt. They would be standing there scanning as the box rolls by. They could at least do the vinyl wrap job. On the other hand I worked with a woman who cold stack pallets ten high all day and outworked me on a constant basis.

Fox is lucky to have Greg Gutfeld, and Kennedy as well. Both are thought provoking and genuinely funny. The anchors are in a different class altogether. They have found the precise frequency in the brain that lets you know if you're not in 100% agreement with them you were born with "Blame America First" in you DNA. To be fair and balanced, there are anchors on other networks who serve the same purpose. I'd love to have Gutfeld and Kennedy given time allotments of 2 or 3 hrs. each. Give them a rough outline for each show, and just let them go with their panels. That would be truly great TV. I used to be a news junkie. Now I'm on a low daily maintenance dose. I've yet to find a news network without some discernible bias. Although that includes Fox news, I am giving a lot of credit where it is due.

I'm a woman, I do NOT feel oppressed and never have. In fact, I have a lot of privileges because of that. I've never been required to do super hard work....the three D's.... dangerous, dirty, demanding. Not. A lot of women working in oil fields, digging ditches, lol.

I am so sad for this whole situation. On the other hand, God has warned us that if we worship idols & other "gods", we will eventually be disciplined or die by our rejection of Jesus Christ as our Savior. Many times tragedy like this, pain & suffering, is what it takes to turn people toward God. Most people in the Middle East worship a false god, just as the same is happening here in the USA. God doesn't cause this pain & suffering, but He allows it. Most pain & suffering is self-induced.
