SteppIR CrankIR First Tests + News and Update

It’s been awhile since I posted a new video online. Here’s some news and update with the SteppIR CrankIR portable antenna first tests.
During our test operating portable in the park, Robin VA2NRJ and I had the visit of Franck F4IGF who was on vacation in Canada. It was a pleasure to meet him with his wife.

So how do you rate the CrankIR then? I'm trying to decide on if I should get one of these or maybe a portable hexbeam??

Would more radials help, as is often the case with verticals?

Nice Crank IR. Great for portable and field day. How many radials/counter poise does this use?

for over $900 its a bit steep you could make your own for a lot less lol

This setup is $900???? Lol. I've watched a few of these reviews, and nobody mentioned that the cost is almost $1k...
