2021 650L here. If taller than 6'0.. Most have little issues with the bikes height. I'm 5'9" and it's a bit challenging. Takes practice and well.... Off road, stuffs gonna happen resulting in "picking the bike up" Other than the stock bars bending. It's a tank. 😘
I too! Enjoyed your Video. Pointed out all the things of interest on 650L. Height, Weight, Carbureted so is a bit cold natured, patience upon warm up. Like that wind screen. Looking into that! Of all my motorcycles, my 2021 650L will NOT leave my garage. Keeper always. ❤ it!
Yes I just installed the same brand windscreen on my CRF300L as well....It's very versatile and well made. I probably should do a quick video on it as well.
Great video I like it! IMPORTANT: Make sure to replace the stock front sprocket out with an aftermarket. They are known to wear the hell out of the countershaft splines. Otherwise stone tough solid bikes!
Ohhhh... May already be aware. Very Important! Toss that Output transmission shaft chain sprocket.....! Factory one is too thin and WILL rapidly ruin your trans countershaft splines. Super easy swap. Fritzco 15 tooth or 14 tooth if your wanting more off road grunt. There are other sprocket makers that make them... Tried them too... Fritzco USA and proper hardened steel. 6,000 miles on my 15 tooth. Looks as good the day i bought it. 👍
great action on your girl and wish i was out there chasing with you on my girl . only thing id say is get a bigger tank i had a clark /ims 4.0 gal. on one and i have a 5.8 on my 2021 i can get about 210 ish miles on the tank. enjoy it and hope you get to go out tomorrow too

Why are the new ones water cooled? The engine got no bigger. It ran fine as an air cooled machine. 🤷
The 2024 XR650L's are not water cooled that I know of....are you talking about the 2025 perhaps? I haven't seen one yet..
