I can’t stop listening to this and thunderclap, my god how osts can have this much impact and elevate scenes to a level beyond imagination. I’m a manga reader and genuinely cannot wait for season 3, not only because of the story/fights but to also hear the openings and ost that they’ll bless our ears with. Imagine the osts played during gojo vs sukuna in season 4, just thinking about it gives me shivers.
I hope that there will be only 3 seasons, cause from what I think, each season covers 2-3 arcs and till end there's only 2 arcs left, Culling Games and Shinjuku Showdown.
@daaaan47 not necessarily. They typically do seasons with around 23-24 episodes that adapt around 60-70 chapters. There’s maybe at least 2 seasons left, which will make jjk a 4 season anime. Gotta remember the culling game arc is around 60 chapters on its own, not to mention from where the anime left off there are about 20 chapters before the culling game arc even starts. Could very well see season 3 ending around 208 or 212 with around 70 chapters adapted, which would leave season 4 with around 60 chapters to adapt.

Kenjaku and Sukuna's deal was not yet shed to light, We yet to know how Kenjaku manage to get Sukuna cooperate with him. During the Heian Era sorcerers and cursed spirits honed their skill just to defeat Sukuna but they failed. No one was able to defeat him even back then.

Never crazy about the idea of a villian they have to baby and slowly build up over the series. Which is why i'm glad they scrapped that and immediately feed him like 10 fingers in Shibuya arc and raise him all the way to number 2. He have the confidence in season 1. But in season 2 Sukuna walked the talk. In the short time he is awakened, he showed everyone that his a force of nature.

I think you had the best cover version tbh. The vocal samples in the other two were too short, you could always hear the choir cut off instead of drag to the next note smoothly which is what yours and the official accomplishes., You cooked
One of my favorite things about sukuna's theme here is how innocent all the instruments are. That in combination with the key it's in really sells the force of nature and horror aspect of sukuna.

some of the instruments sound like a pendulum swinging, marking every second of what was soon to be a crater. Time is ticking, and its not going to wait for you to get out of its radius.
On the whole, I think Season 1 had more bangers, more vocal tracks, and varied style due to having 3 composers simultaneously doing the soundtrack. Season 2 is a lot more streamlined stylistically and subdued. If you're not a huge jazz head for example, Season 2 ost isn't gonna hit as much generally.
As amazing as the official ost is, can we please stop trashing on people that created covers. They helped create a version for us to listen to before the official one gets released.

As I said, hit and miss. Some of them were really good (Todo, Sukuna fe) but others (mostly the rap songs) simply didn't fit the series.
