Jack, your teams for competitive play have inspired me! Your Gholdengo from a previous team you had was my inspiration for my most recent video. I appreciate you a ton!! Also, the beat up strat is epic with how viable it is in Regulation H.
Fantastic team man great stuff. Love the battles and the commentary, definitely earned a subscriber from me. I was playing around with bulk up ape, beat up maushold and kilowattrel for tailwind support. I watched your first video and realised I was being goofy, switched to your whim and scarf ape set up and man its fun to use. I ended up getting top 4 in the sunday vg cup at Sacramento regionals (which was my first regional I've ever been to). So thankyou good Sir, cant wait to see what stuff you come up with next.
Thanks for the full team report man! I really enjoy this kind of content, especially when it’s coming from Somebody who’s been so successful in game. Appreciate you Jack. Looking forward to what you do in the future!
I really liked your Pokemon's names ;) By the way, did you actually name your team? Personally, I love naming my team members, so I'd love to know what you named them.
Great report! Would love to sit in on the next theorymon session. Question: this team seems very dependent on tailwind being set up. Did you struggle against TR? Final note, you should make a video montage of your team just eating people alive. Pick a good song to overlay and boom instant success.
My team actually did really well against TR teams because I had multiple outs against it with the 2 taunt users. Also if I couldn’t taunt then I would use screens and then simply out bulk the TR teams and break them down over the course of TR turns
@@Zori53 I needed something to beat sneasaler indeedee. The issue with pelipper is that even with investment in bulk it still is very frail where gyarados has nice natural bulk.
@@jamesgarrett1382 the ghouldengo outspeeds modest max speed pelipper by 1. I then wanted to maximize its bulk by going max hp and just dumping into SpD. I don’t see a need to invest in its SpA because it’s SpA stat is already naturally very high and that’s paired with moves that have high base power like Make it Rain. Plus after 1 nasty plot even without investment you are still getting 1 hit KOs.
My team is almost like your, but I have basculegion adp and Choice B, and inci max attack and speed, to surprise ursa gholdengo, indeedee and amongus, 1 shoot to all them
@@dayronprietoarcia4708based on my experiences I actually have found more success in bo3 formats than bo1. Most of the team is standard outside of the spread for ape, but it doesn’t change the interactions against other teams so drastically even if they know your items and moves. There are also still teams in bo3 scenarios where even if they know the team they aren’t prepared for the ape cott strategy and you can still easily 4-0 them

Thank you! We will feature the team very soon!
Can’t wait to see you play with it

What are your most common leads? I LOVE this team
@@demetrioshill8484 usually Cott Ape, Grim Arch, Ursa Cott, or Ursa Grim
love it! everything!
Thank you!!! And again congrats
Always love a team with Whimsicott or Grimmsnarl. Im new to VGC and EV training as a whole so videos like these are very helpful
I try my best haha
Archaludon is one of the most vgc minded pokemon ever made. That spread is gonna help me out so much
The masculine urge to run this team and give every mon 1 extra speed

@@erensy641 I typically don’t, not because I don’t want to, but more so because I can never come up with creative nicknames 😅
@JPTK-VGC ah that's too bad. Personally I name them after anime, books, and games I've seen. Either that or something edgy lol.
I will be stealing this and changing some things for Toronto, so thank you!

Idk how you do it Jack. I’m so envious of your team building skills!

Just curious, why gyrados over peliper?
@@Zori53 I needed something to beat sneasaler indeedee. The issue with pelipper is that even with investment in bulk it still is very frail where gyarados has nice natural bulk.
@ awesome thanks! I think I’ll try peliper over dos and after you clef over grim. Either way great team!
Great team, will you share the gholdengo spreads
Gholdengo @ Leftovers
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 4 SpA / 140 SpD / 108 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain
- Protect
- Nasty Plot
Hopefully that helps :)

That’s a cool incin tech. Sounds very handy bs many common threats

@@JPTK-VGCwhat other mons?
Why scarf annihilape over bulk up set,
@@demetrioshill8484 it was intended to beat other annilape after the set up cause it always outspeeds. Plus it helped in my garchomp match ups
