The Spectacular Spider-Man[b] is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, created and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of overall tone and style, the series is based principally on the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. era of The Amazing Spider-Man comic books, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to blend material from all eras of the comic's run-up to that point in addition to other sources such as the Ultimate Spider-Man comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, as well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series.
One great thing about this show is how much the villains change over the course of it. Flint started as just a common crook Spider-Man would beat up now and again. But then he became Samdman and upped his game. But the most impressive part is that he continued to up his game as the show went on. Here, after just getting powers, Flint has relatively simple tricks like changing his limbs or traveling as sand. But by his last appearance in the show, he could reshape his entire body, grow to skyscraper heights, and even manipulated/became an entire beach. It’s developments like this, that have the characters change and evolve throughout the course of the show, that made them real characters and not just villains of the week.
EXACTLY!!! Most of the villains don't get beat the same way twice and are always learning, unfortunately for them so is Spidey
That music in this scene never gets old
This is one of my favorite scenes in this show
For me was his fight with Kraven🦁🎯
1:44 AWW MAN! MY MONEY!!
All that for nothing 😂
The more things change, the more they start the same, eh, Marko?
WHAT IS THE MATTER TO YOU ANYWAY!?
Sandman forgot his money
0:17 aww man Marco?
Worlds best 2008 Spider-Man show
but wouldn’t it be the only 2008 Spider-Man show lol
@@notsmiffywhat about ultimate Spider-Man 2012 and 1994 Spider-Man tas
@@SB-vv4mu 1994 is good, Ultimate is trash.
Ye ultimate was dog crap
@@brysmanchu what about spectacular Spider-Man?
1:13 Spiderman 3 reference
Yeah this show had a ton of references to Spiderman 3, considering it came out in 2008 a year after that film.
To be fair Spectacular Spider-Man was heavily based on the Tobey Maguire films combined with Ultimate and 616.
@@luisolaguez4309Yes
Really hate to say this but in this scene sandman really laid a smackdown on spidey.
He did not care about Spidey once, he's just here for the money (that he left behind)😂
@@tyresehenry4176 oh man my money. 😂 He should've gotten it back
Probably didn't wanna push his luck lol
@@A-ROD-oe8wljust has bad luck
Too bad he ended up forgetting to take the stolen money
1:00 Yeah spidey, shoot a web on the dude whi can turn into f***ing sand particles.....
Ich fand es sehr heftig wie Sandmann Spiderman auf die Fenster Scheibe geworfen hat
Weird after this show ended, he went to join a multiversal spider society.
Edit: also first.
Sandman has an epic theme
Aww Man My Money Said Sandman
Aww man my money! 😂😂
No one 'did it to him' in the old, original comic origin. Not deliberately; he had his body merged with sand by being in an experimental bomb explosion on what they thought was an empty beach.
Ich liebe den Kampf zwischen Spiderman und Sandmann
1:01 First time to run out of Web Fluids.
Basically Rock lee vs gaara
i wish the voice scter was tom Holland
I see, I prefer this actor more
