This cool car looks good
Nice work making a heroic effort to fix a difficult oil pump clogging Problem, in the biting cold. Like your ol' dad tells us all: Never, ever give up!
I really like this car. Great to see it getting some love.
Great video, your Pop is the best and always happy.
Part IV is next, I always enjoy your work!
very amusing, gotta love you guys, two pistons out..... it's a good looking car
Lost two plug wires
I had a 73 Satellite when I was in high school. Was turned into hot rod.I loved that car. It looked alot like that car but it was a sky blue with black vinyl top
Makes me miss my 73, so glad you got her running Jed!
Good morning to you all and I hope you had a great Christmas 🎄🎁 and I wish you a Happy Holidays and especially a great New Year's.
I'm a Ford guy, but you n Dylan McCool have made me a Mopar fan. PS: Your Dad is so cool!
Nothing wrong with Fords, they made some really cool factory race cars
USAF retired, owned a 74 roadrunner in 1979 at Luke AFB, had a 360 4barrel with headers an side pipes, loved this car
Thank you for your service and I love the sound of your car
the smile at the end tells it all! awesome man
Have a Happy new Year 😊
I guess you got your paper towel problem fixed.
Thanks for the effort.
These have always been my favorite body style for satellites
Good way to end the year Jed happy for y'all!
Another good one 👍👍
Very cool, happy new year to you and your family
Thanks again Dad! As Jed will say I have to say thank you again Mike!
Glad shes getn attention❤❤
Good stuff here
Central California watching
Thanks for the entertainment jed
Whew ! Yeah baby....That is an Awesome ending...or a New Beginning with Happy Days to come for the *Former- Problem Child... BTW- I never knew that had a Built 400 Stroked to 451 in it- Sheeesh man....that's an Awesome Engine !
I can tell its a Sebring "plus", Rally gauges , 160 speedo, special interior panels, special trim. Actually more rare than a RR. Good video!
Great eye my friend, it's a shame that this car was cobbled together from the previous owners. She's always been work in progress. Thanks for checking out the video man!
happy new year awesome series
Cool video 👍😎
At least you don't have snow ❄️🌨️ on the ground.
Not in any of the clips filmed, but it snowed
I'm watching it snow here and I just got home from work.🥶
Well Jed, you prevailed and Dad was a big help. Some new wires, a new tire(s), and a bit more love and you will be (as Randy Bachman would say) Rolling Down the Highway.🤟😁 Check that song out.
When I had my El Camino (Hell Camino) it had a .030 over 454 in it with almost no header clearance, I burnt spark plug wires, five and seven on the header, and also wrapped one around the steering shaft and melted the plastic. It was on steering shaft making plug wires five and seven temporary permanent part of the steering shaft lol A week later and melted my plastic oil, pressure hose on the header while driving and thought we’ll my 600 hp big block is toast and I gotta walk lol I pinched off both ends of the plastic oil pressure hose while they were still hot and limped it home
once did a red rag in a 97 ford f350 in a 460 went about the same way but i got to pull the pan
Great to see The Problem Child, up and running! Happy New Year To You and Your Family! Can't wait to see, what 2024 will bring.
Amigo Muchas felicidades para el próximo año Mis mejores deseos para vos y tu familia Saludos desde Argentina!!!
Thank you very much for watching the video, I hope you enjoyed!
My mom's was a nice gravel road cruiser.
50:10 CHOP CHOPITY CHOPAROOO!!! YEA! BABAAYY! Camalooza! Love it!!
Fantastic episode(s). I haven’t seen any of your videos for ages. I’ll have to look at your back catalogue.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, my friend!
Glad the motor is good to go. Have a great New Year!
I'm thankful as well, hope ya have a great new year
Dang Jed, you’ve got so many cool vehicles.
A lot of years of collecting and polishing turds
I've had the same year with my 74 Cutlass Salon. Turbo Ls/4l80e swap. I rewired the whole car and had gremlins. Then I installed a transbrake, billet input and intermediate shafts. Didn't get the OD roller clutch seated right and had no 1st or R. After pulling trans & fixing it I finally get to drive. Drove 5 miles ,,roll into the throttle BOOM!! Bent the 8.5" bop 10 bolt housing, destroyed both axle bearings, sheared splines off of brand new forged axles and spun the carrier bearing races in the case/bearing caps(never seen that before). Waiting on a Quick Performance 9in now😂. Sorry for the novel, but wanted to say, I feel your pain. Also, I really enjoy your content and you make me miss my Mopars big-time. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Off dang man, that sounds pretty dang rough but I'm more surprised you still had the 10 bolt haha, but I got faith you'll get that Cutlass figured sorted, that's what we do!
@@ScottsSpeedShop lol the 10 bolt was out of stubbornness. I definitely should have replaced it way before now.
@whereisamerica7384 I did the same with my 70 Charger, I kept its 8 1/4 Chrysler rear end out of stubbornness, because mopar guys said I'd destroy the little rear end Mt old 440, and it surprisingly never died
@@ScottsSpeedShop exactly the same reason I kept my 10 bolt. Looking back on it I cost myself more money trying to keep it from the inevitable end. Lesson learned (lol probably not)
That is on of the cars I've dreamed of owning. Or a 70 roadrunner gtx. Mopars are my favorites. Love the content
Sweet satellite I always consider them muscle cars glad got problem child going awesome content 👍🏼👍🏼
Happy New Year yall.
Happy new year!
Glad you got the problem resolved. Your dad is irreplaceable. So glad you guys are able to work together.
I was trying to put an oxygen sensor in and my fingers, like yours no room.ahhhh was lucky my friend was thier he has fingers like a guitarist 2min.later done.so I do feel your pain bro !!!

73 satelite MY 1ST Car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Punishment goes both ways Jed and I will agree with you on the issue of the man that I know as Mike!
Great to see you and your dad fixing the issue. let's hope the tide is turning for you on this one!! look forward to seeing more soon all the very best to you and your family for 2024
carl uk👍💯
She sounds good buddy!
Thanks man!
That car 🚗🚨 has a better chance of dying than the Emergency Old 70's sitcom being cast without Robert Fuller as the Doctor 😊
I’m happy you’re getting her sorted out. It’s awesome you have a family that helps keep each other on point. Never forget to remove the rags lol. Shit happens eh. 😂✊🏼
Yeah, no more rush jobs
Whats up brother im so happy the satellite is on the mend im pretty sure that's my favorite outta your fleet have a good new year
Happy to see you guys having a little bit of progress on it.
I am super happy you got it taken care of love the old-school Mopar, and like you say any car can be a hot rod. Happy new year.
Glad u got the satellite fix, dang what a paper towel can do, and nothing worse then having to redo the same thing over n over again, ur dad is a hero, he's like once he starts on it he ain't gonna stop till he accomplished it, really nice vid, so it shows why u name the car problem child😂
I was just about to say, i bet the service truck comes in handy at times.
Wow I bet u won't let that happen again good tto see it going tho
Probably not
👍👍

Good show as always sorry about my last comment nothing mention by it
It's all good, glad to hear you enjoyed the video my friend!
I remember the days of holding can of gas with a lit fuse in my mouth....😂
Whats up!!!
Howdy
Man I love that 318 poly that car would look great restored beautiful colour does she have a twin system on it Jed . Get her done 👍🏻🇦🇺.
I've got everything to convert the brakes to a dual line setup
Really AWESOME content guys!! I love it! I would imagine you would be straining that unused oil after you've run it through the engine and re-using it??
We had a nice surplus of oil stockpiled
Come on, pull the pan! It’s not that much harder! I watched the video but I had to run some errands, happy wife, you know!
Should hash be watched the entire video
Sorry Scott, had to leave before the end of the video and do some honey do’s! I came back and watched the whole video! I opened mouth and inserted foot!
@jamespseaman4136 it's all good man, removing the pan is a serious pain in the later b bodies especially with a windage tray. We fought some of them bolts for entirely too long. I'm glad you came back and enjoyed the video!
What are you using for an oil pressure sender in the block. I’ve got a 440 out of an rv and the damn gauge quit working any suggestions for a part number?
Nice video Scott. Your dad is one cool dude, makes me miss mine. My dad has been gone for 30+ years now. Happy Holidays to you and the family. 😊😊
In 1984 I bought my first car
1973 satellite for 345 bucks.
Yellow banana.
318
Has a nice lumpy lope to it. What cam in that stroker ?
Well, even at the 10.2 to compression, I still opted for a Hughes Whiplash hydraulic flat tappet cam. The engine has always ran great, except when I make a mistake
This car should be plan A for the 2024 no name nats
She ain't no race car
I must’ve missed something: how did paper towel get into the oil pan?
Stupid mistake on our part in a previous video
oooohhh yeah!!! I've been down that 'dumb mistake' road a few time myself@@ScottsSpeedShop
👍🏻🇦🇺
never forget to show the love. cheers from Calgary. is it a B or an RB?
B block, it's a low deck 400 with a 440 crank with turned down mains, 440 ly rods, and KB stroker pistons
We're those gold mags 4.5 bolt pattern or the small bolt pattern I would love to put them on my duster
5x4 on front and 5x4.5 in the rear. I may loan them out for photos but I'll be hanging out them
So close
Paper towel or the guts to a Fram filter?
WE WANT TO SEE JEZEBEL RETURN!!!!!!!!!!!!
The people have spoken.
Atleast you didn't spell her name wrong Marty
@@ScottsSpeedShop nope, I've learned because she's my favorite car on the channel 🤘🤘🤘
Where can I order shirts??
Information is in the description, email ScottShopMerch70@yahoo.com
I like too see the Jedidiah on a rip and tear rampage and the whole crew involved. Satellite 📡🛰️
