I just wanted to comment that I really like your videos, because they express true love for the craft. I like how different your thinking is from a common comercial jeweler. It always seems that your true aim is to bring out the beauty/potential of gems, and to cut the best stones you can out of a rough (not only the biggest, or the one you could sell higher for the least effort). I truly respect your passion.
Thanks Andres, I'm a recreational gem cutter so I try to facet the best gem. Because I don't sell them, I'm not restricted by time or labor costs. For me it's about the art and the joy of cutting gems. Cheers Cliff
Lovely minerals. I wouldn't know most if they hit me in the head, but they're lovely. Thanks for sharing this piece of mother nature, and good luck with the new project!
Excellent presentation, Cliff. The blue/green Malachite was my favorite, it seemed to display some areas of irradiance that is stunning. Thanks for putting this video together... Can't wait for part two.
The sampleite is pretty rare, unless of course you live in, Australia or Chile. Looking forward to seeing the rest. 🧐 Some forms I’m not used to seeing as well.
Thanks for presentation Cliff , nice collection of gems and minerals. My place is poor of minerals , i find myself some calcit and onyx, but 50km near me have bauxite ore, maybe one day i go visiting ...
So fascinating. Some very beautiful & intriguing specimens
