- Joe and I were finally able to get back together after 1.5 years of being unable to get together due to Covid and border closures. In this video we spend 3 nights 4 days on remote lakes in search of Trout. Part 2 of our trip together will come in a few weeks.
One of your best videos yet 👍
Excellent video very entertaining 👍
A truly symbiotic relationship, I hope Joe knows how well you two mesh. Great video!
Always fun with Joe! Enjoyable video. 👍

So glad the borders have opened up! Lets keep these videos coming. Enjoy you both.
Nothing like a good ole stuff and ranger joe trip.
Blast from the past there. It's been a long time since we have used those screen names. Thats cool that you still remember.
Thanks for the video watching it as we speak 👍👀
That pristine image quality is really appreciated. Overcast days have never looked so good.
It’s always a pain to carry the multiple cameras and different lenses but I never regret it when looking back at these videos. And yes I love that diffuse overcast light.
Great video!
Aww, You guys!😄
Awesome
Well Kyle you are a second to Scout..... but always good to see you guys together... yall click great video .. :)
Kyle and Joe... Always the best, funniest videos ever!
It was raining in the morning today in Kuala Lumpur and overcast for the whole day, starting of our annual wet season here in Malaysia. Watching this with the atmosphere outside was awesome. Another Kyle and Joe adventures for the masses. Funny as always.
Makes me want to get out canoeing again!

Hey guys I’m glad to see you both together again. I know this going to be a good video.
I’m so excited for this video with you and old Joe! I’ve been anxiously waiting for it! Love your videos!!!
Joe!!!
👍👍
You should ask Joe to put a link to your channel in his comments. I had to search a lot to find you after watching Joes video. Cheers from Winnipeg.
Thanks for watching. will do In the future
Fun fact: the guy cooking salmon/lingonberries with Ray Mears was Lars Fält. Hestra's Falt Guide gloves are named after him.
Great vid. You've seen more of back country Ontario than 99% of the people who live here. You always look at home in a canoe on our lakes and rivers, so by this time you should just consider yourself an honorary Canuckistanian. You even pronounce 'portage' correctly.
Looking forward to part deux.
Drive from Ohio to northern boonies though... that's a long drive for a fairly short trip. Did you cross at the Sault, or Windsor/Detroit?
Hey Kyle, Always good to see the dynamic duo on an excursion . . . Let me ask you as to why you sold your swift pack boat ?
Have you ever looked at the Old Towne line of canoes ? Their hulls are "Bullet Proof" A fraction of the cost in comparison to the swift. Yaaaa they are heavier, But "the good w/ the bad" Look at the Solo Sports man. Pretty cool features in this solo pack boat.
Just a thought
Jeffrey
I sold my pack boar when I moved to California. The environment is way different than Ontario with its many lakes and relatively flat land. I can't see myself hiking in 5 miles and 2000 feet up with a pack boat on my head the whole time to get to a lake. I have fished in mountain lakes and rivers all over the western US but tend to see my packraft as a better option for those kind of trips. The Old Towne boats are vary durable and I could see using one in a white water river trip. But for high speed long distance trips on lakes I can't see them as the best option.
Very cool soundtrack. What music publisher do you use?
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you like the soundtrack. I have been using Epidemic Sounds.
Where did you go? What lakes were you on?
Joe's secret fishing lakes :)
Hey do you still have your V70R?
That was actually a friends car from many years ago.
Is there no goofy looking canopies for canoes for fishing in the rain? Something than mounts to the sides.
Interesting idea. I can't see that working well if it gets windy and sounds like a pain to portage with.
Bro, don't stick your fingers in the gill plates like that if you're going to release them. Get a net, yikes
Didn’t your mother tell you be careful who you hang out with
