On the Mountain of Gods - Hiking on Mount Olympus (Greece)

- Hi everyone!
We hiked on Mount Olympus in 3 stages. Starting point was Litochoro. From there we hiked to the tavern “Prionia” and then to refuge A (“Spilios Agapitos”). Our second stage leads us to the summits of Mount Olympus and further to the Plateau of Muses. The third stage was our descent from the plateau to the parking lot “Gortsia”. We hiked over 38km and went 4.100m up and 3.400m down.

Hello Tobias, in any case I dare to take a look at the international version of your epic trek to the top of Mount Olympus. Still, the views of the valley and Anne are a special treat, but you are just as good to look at in English as you are in German. I love your pronunciation, my former English teacher wouldn't love you any more than me.... 😂😂😂 Nevertheless, I wish your channel a particularly great success now, where you will conquer the market of international hiking videos. One of the best videos I have ever seen! One correction though: Saint Dionysios did spend considerable time living in the Cave and nearby forest. "Not supposedly" but ACTUALLY. All the best to both of you.
PS As 2/3rds in Greece is Blessed Mountains here is a link of not the many independent Mts, as Mt Olympus kind of is, but of Mt Pindus Range that goes from west Greece down to Delphi, then crosses the Gulf of Corinth to most of the Peloponnese and goes underneath the Aegean Sea down to our island of Crete;Cretan Mts do get snow.

Thank you for the compliment and the reference to St. Dionysios 🙂 In the Pindos Mountains we were also on the road after Olympus. We hiked the Zagoria Trek around and through the Vikos Gorge. The corresponding video will follow soon. A really beautiful area, we were very impressed by it.

@@tobiwandert Good morning. Not at all! With regards to your Zagoria Trek, I understand you did not go up to the Shelter and then to the Dragon-lake (Dinosaur lake).
You mean there is a trail from Mt Tymfi (where Zagoria villages are)that goes to Mt Olympus? What do you mean with the Greek word "synchronization"?

Remember in the Book of Job, God speaks of two good dragons (please, read the whole description carefully;it is not a crocodile, nor a hippo, as the word dinosaur was invented c 2 centuries ago and the translation of the Old Testament form Hebrew to English was done many many centuries ago and the traslators got it wrong by the words crocodile and hippopotamus. A crocodile or a hippopotamus don't have a tail like a cedar tree etc.
Also our Greek Father of History Herodotus tells us that Alexander the Great when he reached India saw dragons there. The age of Earth and all Creation incl. the whole Universe (that is expanding) is c 6,000 years old, not that of the huge misled of billions of years that arose from Darwin's theory which formed the basis of establishing slavery of the black people by the white in the USA in the 16th Century.
