I suspect that DO is quite hard to constantly manage and it takes too much time from you, but what's the master have to say?

I love seeing Etho get involved with large, multi-hermit activites like the Upside-down, Decked Out, and the mycelium resistance. He has a great personality that is a lot of fun both alone and when working with others and I think he adds something really unique to these events.
Indeed. I'm quite happy that this season he got involved with the gang. Though to be honest, Hermitcraft as a whole has improved each season, with increasing collaboration and community oriented projects.

I love that you actually explore the nooks and crannies, unlike other hermits who get their token and bail. Youre really playing the way Tango intended.
Simo Todorov completely agree! It’s cool to get to actually see some of the secrets.
I agree that it's more fun to watch, but beelining to the token and getting out is probably the more effective way to play, especially since most of the good loot etho found was placed by tango and future rewards won't be as good.
Etho is finding all the secrets, collecting huge amounts of coins, and using soul flames to build a better deck. I fully expect he can leap ahead in this game if he maintains his pace.

I've seen runs from other hermits but I think etho here went to places I've never seen before. A explorer's heart.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate decked out. Tango has really gone above and beyond with it and it is one of the most impressive things I have seen in any Hermitcraft series. It gives you a feel like you are in an entirely different game that you would buy by itself, it is quite surreal. Props to Tango for this amazing creation.
Yeah. He spent 2 months working on it practically full-time AND found ways to entertain us along the way. I can't think of any other minecrafter with his combined skillset (game dev & redstone expert), so to get an even remotely similar result, anyone else would've had to spend much longer still. All the circumstances are aligned for this one.

In any hermitcraft series? Make that one of the most impressive things in Minecraft fullstop. Dude built a functioning ARPG in survival minecraft. Thats the sort of thing you can put on a resume

If they make it to a place where exploring, soul flames, and deck quality matter he should be pretty far ahead. Easily the best runs so far.

Not really, bcuz if you stayed in the dungeon for too long, you are gonna get vexed( see what I did there) the other hermits get out quick bcuz they want to make sure they don’t get ‘vexed’

These are some of THE BEST Decked Out runs, I don't think anyone has explored the dungeon as much as you!
I've been trying to watch all of the hermit's decked out runs, and I think that's the first time I've seen anyone escape with maximum clank!
This is the first time that i have heard the sound of clank being generated, idk why everyone plays with so low noteblock sounds
I remember someone else also escaping with max clank and the mossy evoker revealed. I got a vague impression it could have been Beef, not sure. The person went forward, had the Vexes spawn, ran back and went another way. I've seen so many runs at this point that it's getting hard to tell them apart :P There's a meticulous reddit thread about Decked Out with extensive links though if you want to check out some of the runs you might have missed

I love that etho actually takes his time exploring the Decked Out dungeon and consistently discovers secrets. He's like the only hermit I see do that.

Zed actually found the "well" passage first, but it was only on stream. Had a ton of coins in that chest.
I’m really hoping someone finds the treasure room with all the references. Etho would love finding his glass lol.
Zedaph and Joe both look around a lot if you want to check out some others who might be promising. Each has found at least one secret and gotten some kind of loot from it. Some of Zed's runs are on stream. (Same with Joe, but he records them.)
I know of at least 3 people who found the treasure room, and Jevin even took the 12 bamboo. Most don't really look around at all the references though.

Yeah, I know, I was just on Tango's stream, and someone mentioned that Etho has been doing Decked Out, and Tango was like: " I know, that dude's probably gonna win", so yeah, even Tango knows what's up :)

Honestly even if Etho uploaded it as a separate video I'd watch it. I understand he can only fit so much into a hermitcraft episode, so it might be smart sometimes.
I think it will be a long while before people start getting bored watching the Hermits play Decked Out. So I say keep the runs coming.
Etho is by far the best Decked out player so far, he is really taking his time to get to know the layout of it
I agree. Joe Hills has also spent some time exploring. The dungeon is suspensful enough to force you to balance exploration with survival. It's awesome.

I’ve been in the ER almost all day so I really needed this video man. Haven’t played minecraft in years but something about Etho just makes me so happy to watch. Appreciate all this man does and the joy he spreads.

I've been loving Minecraft recently!!! I used to play a LOT more modded but the last few updates have added so many cool items and mechanics that I don't feel the urge to play modded nearly as much.
If you can you should check it out again!

I almost never comment but I feel there's a few things I want to say here:
First of all, thank you so much for continuosly providing us with such amazing content! I'm sure each and every single one of us loves it and appreciates all your effort! I hope you know that you create real happiness for a lot of people all around the world.
Secondly it's a lot of fun watching you interact with all the other hermits and the activities on the server. You're a natural (or seem like one) in making people feel comfortable around you, which for sure reflects in the quality of the colabs and the easy-going and quick-witted banter/conversations!
Thirdly I feel like a huge amount of the hermitcraft viewership community is currently really excited about the whole decked out experience so it'd be very appreciated if you showed all the runs! I feel like you play decked out exactly as Tango intended by exploring the area, seeking soul flames, finding secrets, laughing at all the details and obviously simply having a great time. I'm sure I'm not the only one who definitely WANTS MORE :)

Yeah honestly I was kinda annoyed of decked out runs before this, it never seemed quite as epic as tango made it out to be, it never felt like they were really benefiting from their previous runs, but seeing etho run through, finding soul flame after soul flame, finding nooks and crannies, getting 20 coins in barrels, hearing stealth work, it really feels like the game tango showed off
Exactly. Some of the Hermits seem as though they are running the dungeon for the sake of running it, and don't particularly look like they want to be there. Like they are doing it just for the Gram, but Etho; however, his immersion and how involved he is with his surroundings, how excited he is to play, and how he shows more runs in a single video than a RUclips search of Decked Out provides in it's list, that involvement shows he truly appreciates Tangos work. These are by far the best runs.
Etho distracting someone with a question brings me back tot he Mindcrack days when he used to try to kill people with anvils :')

He's not afraid to risk it all and go the far end of the dungeon.
I think that's just where his compasses are taking him, as well as the stuff he happens to notice along the way.

Not only are you really good at navigating the dungeon in decked out, you’re really good at incorporating it into the videos. I’ve been watching pretty much every dungeon run on the server and you’ve done the best job at editing to keep continuity and the feeling of the dungeon while saving some time in the episode. I’ve never seen someone fit in so many dungeon runs, not to mention explore all the secret rooms and stuff. There’s so much going on in the server right now though, and you tend to take extra time to make quality videos, so I think we’d be ok with condensed runs too. Keep up the amazing work!
It might sound weird but his mancave might make it easier to both navigate a game like this and splice together runs.
@@SadMarinersFan true the organized chaos of his base is excellent to cut away to and from, and yeah, Etho's skill at Decked Out is really impressive. He takes the risks, memorizes locations quickly and builds good strategies based on them. It's amazing quality content in general. Thanks Etho for playing and Tango for making this incredible game.

@@wyomingptt nah man just that ethos editing skills is pretty evident when you see how other hermits tried to incorporate runs, he's done this for a hella long time and it shows
15:43 Tango explained how he make the loot boxes in one of his vids, can't remember which one lol. The artifacts are randomised using dropper loop, almost like the one used in the stat poker stat picker. Then he adds coins based on the artifacts in the box. Better artifacts = less coins, vice versa.
Yes do and show more Decked Out... lowkey man you are the one who's explored the most nooks and crannies which its really cool to see someone actually see the hidden secrets and not just run away scared for their life...

@@AED10 disagree. The game may be brutal, but Etho goes in with strategy and plan. He knew he should familiarize himself with the dungeon layout as quickly as possible because players are rewarded for exploring and discovering secrets.
He got almost 2 extra runs, just from the reward of the first run. The rest of the hermits just go in, grab loot and get out. No plans, no strategy. Any extra loots that they get are incidental.

@@Crazyasian123456 I did, just wanted to point that out for others who might not check, I think Etho once responded to unwanted spam on his singleplayer and how it breeches the internet etiquette. Stuff like that always get's my goat -_-
Etho is the only one I have seen so far to understand the trapdoor walkway first try! Seriously so satisfying after seeing all the other hermits fail at it.
Grian either got it first or second try, and then after he beat it he did it again (though he died to it once)
I love that Etho was able to make it across with a Ravager on his back. Even under pressure, that trap was no match for him. (:

That Ravager at the entrance scared the heck out of me 😂 Etho always has some of the most exciting decked out runs but he has such bad luck at artifacts!
Not to mention the one in the gold room...
Watching etho's runs is just so much fun! He seems to get exactly how the game is supposed to be played, he has a perfect balance between rushing and exploring and the way those tactics pay off only empathises how good the game itself is.

As someone who’s makes videos, THAT was a brilliant clip!
What most people don’t know is that that trap is designed for ravagers to walk through , so he still could’ve been chased lol , tango designed it that way so the ravagers didn’t die in the trap but players could

Love watching your runs, you do a lot more exploring and finding secret paths, the last run was gripping! I was leaning forward trying to go towards the exit too haha.
Looks like you have the most decked out coins out of the hermits (if you still have left that is with all that buying of keys xD) You could try out the auction Tango has up now, the "Wildcard Artifact" just in case one of your needed unique artifacts despawned, lost when players died in game with the loot box before Tango changed it to box token, he said he'll check which uniques despawned and put them back in though.
Etho is now probably OBSESSED with decked out now....
It seems like the kind of game he would really like based on some of the other stuff he's played.
If ethos put a video of just his runs, we’d all watch them. Between etho and Joe Hills those two have spent time admiring the dungeon and dying (or almost dying) in spectacular fashion.

As for the decked out Treasure, it's both. Tango manually puts some in there, especially the good hiding spots and secrets. But there are a handful of chest scattered about the place that get filled and drained with loot every run based upon your level of loot finder.
Tango manually put in the ones that are split in the barrel in every slot, because dispensers put them all into the first slot.
Its pretty obvious which is which, given how absurdly hard it is to put items in the middle of a barrel with hoppers. (And also doing that without stacking)

@@Klffsj Except he just ran back the way he threw the orb out of panic xD and he still made it. Same with the ravager that hit him at the entrance and left him with one heart, Etho's always been super lucky at escaping mobs

@@Klffsj Oh yeah, he's definitely got the skills. But he's also still a double tapper and the sprint failed on him multiple times while he was trying to get away and he still got away xD

I love Decked Out so much, but oh boy does it get my anxiety going. The heartbeat effect drives me crazy, but it’s so satisfying when you survive

IMO the compass dibs is lame anyway. Etho is really supposed to walk by an open button just because someone is afk nearby? In order to get the prize I feel like you should actually have to be there
It's entirely possible that Xisuma may not have been there when Etho pushed the button.

Your decked-out runs are the most interesting runs of all the hermits. It's really cool to see all the secrets and Easter eggs in the dungeon which most of the hermits don't seem to care about that much. And tango deserves his dungeon to be shown in its entirety after all the work he put into it.
And I'd love to see more Grian colabs. I kinda suspect the two of you might become the source of some brilliantly entertaining chaos on the server. Gonna be great. Can't wait.
Do have to say, think ethos dungeon runs have been the most entertaining. He really explores well and you can actually hear the dungeon noises. Feel he immerses us in the dungeon with him the most.
My older sister(Abby) recently went off to college, and she loved Etho and she introduced me and my 3 other siblings to Etho. So now I have been watching lot of Etho because it makes me think of her! When I miss her, I put on a episode and it makes me happy! Thank you for all the laughter and fun through the years, your channel has been so special in our lifes!! Love you Etho!!!💕💕

you know if you asked me a few years back if the two biggest trolls in minecraft would do a colab my answer would have been a "probably not" but here we are and what a momentous occasion it is.
I mean etho definitely is one of those but grian isnt really a troll, he just knows what to do to make people laugh. He generally isnt super destructive and doesn't shake up the system in the same way etho does. Hes more of a local prankster, just messing with his friends while etho is like a con artist, tax evading, making monstrosities, etc
I got an amber alert while he was doing the last one and it scared the life out of me

Long time viewer here! Definitely loving watching Decked Out. I understand that collabs can be hard and can not always be the best for the creator, but they are always so fun to watch. Keep up the great content! Also, I'm glad to see that you've been keeping up with HermitCraft. It's become one of the few minecraft related content that I am still interested in. As a huge fan of yours, please stick with it!
Yes, you're allowed to eat the cake. I heard that Tango actually had a stream dedicated to making cakes to replace it, though I've not seen it myself.

Grian and Etho's collab is the collab we have been waiting for, we just need them both to brew something that will make all the hermits go "oh no"

@@TheRealWormbo Especially with Etho luring Scar with fake clues to info that doesn't exist (or is fake) and will only make Etho richer and Scar, less rich. We'll have to wait and see if they'll lead Scar into a full-on trap as well. Also, Etho teaching Grian some redstone would be nice. XD

I really love watching the Decked Out run from any hermit tbh. The game is extremely interesting and it always makes me extremely nervous, which is fun! Tango did an extremely good job on this game and I am so amazed.
Love this "Decked Out" grind. Don't stop with showing us these tries, Etho ^^ (also your parts were probably the most exciting ones as you explore more than most of hermits)
Those were the best runs of Decked out I've seen yet! Etho explored places Tango didn't even show us, and so many more places than the other hermits..... and lived to run again!!!
That was great. Reminds me of when Etho would do Vechs maps. Classic!
