He is also wearing a black wound badge (wounded 1 to 2 times) and on his right arm he has 3 tank destroyed badges. Someone of Coburn's age would have made him a WW1 veteran.
Yes, most of them have been removed. I saved the boxes in case I wanted to put them back. I found a large tub In storage filled with loose figures. I really dread to think of how many of them have been damaged in the last 15 years!
@@iggystoyparadesoldierrevie1092 I can truly say after collecting these figures for over 10 years that keeping them in the box is the way to go if you want to preserve the figure and it’s accessories now if you want to enjoy the figure it is absolutely amazing to display but the items are so brittle. It’s very easy to break small parts and pieces.
I was speaking about 1970's war movies however SPR is extreme in a different way. Depicting all Germans as skinheads is also creating a false impression. Most German soldiers preferred their hair combed straight back and short on the neck (my uncle Fritz wore it that way his whole life). Also many wore their hair shaved on neck and above the ears. Your point is valid in that the movies tend to reflect somewhat the decade they were made. Movies have historical advisors, but you know from your personal experiences that the director does what he wants.
I really do appreciate the in-depth detail of this inbox review amazing work keep it up 10/10
Thank you!

The sequel was called "Breakthrough" ( not Breakout) Richard Burton would have been a candidate for the Volkssturm.

What about Saving Pvt Ryan? All the Germans were skinheads!
