I have not yet learnt everything in the framework but slowly getting into it. We are using cucumber, extent reports and many more. This video helped me to connect the dots.

A brilliant , exploitative video solving the actual problem of test automation. Reinventing the wheel is not always a good choice, company is paying us to make its work easy and fast. Nobody talks about this issue. You always highlight the pain point of testers and make it very clear with solutions. Kudos.

  • @SpacialCow

That's pretty nice, one note that I have on it, at least what we do where I work, we don't keep the page objects with the tests, it's a different project.
    So it's like:
    1-core
2-domain (page objects and page components)
    3-tests
And there is a reason, on the domain, we handle the ui elements as components, and they can be shared within different pages, for example, a refresh button, can be in 10 different pages, so this component is on the domain project, and if we have 5 pages that use it, we just add to the page class composition.
So basically, the teams can create test projects reusing the standardized components and pages.

As always you explain it well and deep. I am following your tutorials, learning and applying the same within my org and on my projects.
*** - Could you please make a real time practical video on the same by making of the whole core framework as a .jar file
    .
As an extension to your earlier series "Learn Hybrid Framework with Page Object Model Step by Step". Take the same one (because it is already developed and available) and extent it little further by applying with the above one / concept.
    Thanks for understanding.

Just want to add this note: If you want to package it in a single executable JAR for distribution, you need to use few plugin like "maven-assembly-plugin" in your pom.xml and then we need to run it with this command to get the JAR with all dependencies included:
    - mvn clean compile assembly:single

    1) How do we create the nexus repository ? could you please create a video on that so we can have one at company level
    2) For product based companies its good to have one language. Sometimes in service based companies. client ask automation to be in particular language. Is there a way to have language independnt libraires ?

Wonderful video naveen, I also wanted to suggest that you make a video on the making of the whole core framework , I mean practically , adding the dependency , adding logging capability .... and just add one test and see how the whole eco system works. Also in my company we have a central GUI for the automation projects. So anyone with no automation experience can just go there and select what application , browser , test Environment can all be selected from a drop down. Also give them the test progress on the home page sorted by app or environment. I Learned automation from scratch with your videos ... so thank you!!!!!
