My older brother just died in front of me. My other brother jumped off a castle wall. My younger sister is in prison after witnessing the deaths of her comrades. And these two have the audacity to call me a traitor? YOU WILL PAY WITH YOUR LIVES!!!!!!!!!!
Corrin: (Before taking down Iago) So hold on one second, Iago. Let me see if I have this right... You're the one who sent the Hoshidans to stop us when Elise was close to being at death's door... You're the one who caused me to lose one of my closet and most valued friends, someone who had always been at my side no matter what came our way... And most importantly, you're the one who said that I should be forced to kill my own brother, which in turn caused him to give up his own life for my sake?! ...There's only one word I can find that could accurately describe you: you... are a MONSTER! So many innocent people and my loved ones have been forced to suffer because of you!! I hope you're ready for your judgement day, because I'll be the one to deliver it to you! You've caused me to lose so much... so now I'll return the favour!
not really you are as much of a monster as he is you are the one who sided with them willingly knowing that they are attacking an innocent nation what's more you justify it by saying it's for "peace" you are as bad as he is only less flamboyant
Mark Lee Yeah because you should totally side with the guy who tried to kill you twice, kidnapped you,and killed two of your family members and wants to use you to invade a peaceful nation for no reason in hopes that you will die in the process...yeah great, you know the normal reaction for a character like corrin would be to actually hate them both for a while and not even think about choosing sides, one family kidnapped and lied to him since forever, the other wasn't able to prevent all the above, but since corrin is your generic peace loving pacifist protagonist with no shred of originality well then you get this, story wise the obvious choice would be revelations but if it didn't exist it would be birthright then conquest
This is my favorite chapter for sure, because 1) after all the other chapters, I finally get to have my revenge on Iago for being mean to me, 2) I get to destroy Hans for killing innocent lives and 3) I put my acting skills to the test: intense yelling, which is part of my acting skills.
I will admit, I was somewhat disappointed with Iago. Really, I feel that they missed some potential - since you had to put up with this bastard throughout all of Conquest, what could have been interesting would have been if they showed that Iago does have some nice sides. I mean, when Garon said he wanted for Corrin to suffer, Iago seems surprised. I figure what they could have done would have been have Iago gradually warm up to you. Like say, he doesn't like that you don't do things his way, but later on he grows to trust you because even though you don't accomplish things the way HE would, you're still doing Garon's orders. So say, Iago could have told the Avatar "Well, I will admit, I am impressed with you - you have your own way of doing things. There is more than one way to skin a cat, after all." Now granted, I know they did want to make it so you would have to fight these two bastards - but if they say, pointed out that Garon was a slime monster, Iago would have probably seen "Heeeey coup de'tat!" and joined in. What COULD HAVE happened may have been Iago and Hans turn on you in Conquest because they think that *YOU* are going to attempt a coup de'tat, rather then "You're disobeying orders! Hinoka survived!", ergo they are trying to protect Garon - heck Iago could easily say "A-Ha! So that's your plan all along!"
You bring up a very good point. Since Garon had a already role in the story, I guess the writers figured they still needed an evil, recurring enemy and let Iago assume that mantle.
Personally, I kinda like it this way. Mostly due to the sheer weight of the previous chapter with Corrin's breakdown and everything... what I'm saying is there needed to be a little balance and dicing those two shitheads into itty bitty pieces was something I'd been waiting for the entire game.
@@blueeyeddrago3540 Yeah, one way I could have done if I decided to flat out redeem Iago... -Iago would act teh same at first, but upon hearing Cheve, would act surprised because "What? That's not like what Corrin would do!" and ask "What happened?!" when he gets a chance and say "I believe you. Something is wrong with Hans... it was after the King started worshipping Anankos that things changed..." -He reveals to Corrin "I was once like you, idealistic, but you've shown that you can achieve the results I desired. You've awoken that hope in me again." -When Sakura's captured, he says "That's a great idea actually - we can negotiate trade deals with a more Nohr-sympathetic Queen of Hoshido!" -When Corrin brings Hinoka's spear over, and Garon says "YOU DISOBEYED!" Iago would speak up and say "Has Corrin EVER disobeyed you?! This was hard enough" and the slime monster again does not react. -for the penultimate chapter, Iago gets sent out and then Hans attacks. Or Iago overhears the plan and says "There is indeed something wrong". Then Hans kills him, and you fight Hans as the stage boss. Iago gives Guingnapp to say "Use it... for Nohr..." -Alternatively, Hans sends him away because of these "Strange forces outside the castle". Then Hans tries to kill you because surprise he works for Anankos too. You kill Hans, then the slime monster... but once you kill the slime monster, Iago walks in and collapses, and you see multiple arrows in his back.... and behind him is Takumi.
Boss Coversations start from and Boss fights begins at Hans 27:05 - 27:12 - 27:25 and Iago at 32:16 - 33:25- 33:39. Hopefully, you guys enjoy the boss fights!
to be honest, i think dwyer should've snapped when triggering skills. cause that's what he did in the japanese game and it sounded like he actually was activating a skill
You can't grind in conquest. At least not in mine. That's the whole point of conquest right? I can't grind in my dlc either. But most of my characters were also lvling to max in this chapter (except for maybe 3). I guess he (and I) did just not switch characters a lot and played with a centered bunch?
This battle is b$%%@@)t in lunatic, with tons of maids with the staff of infinity skill along with Iago and tons of high attack enemies overall, even with capped stats characters this battle is a nightmare (they can get killed with two or three hits), somehow I managed to clear the entire Conquest story in Lunatic classic, chapter 25 is no pushover, stupid ninjas with the enemy skill for stack debuffs, and the final battle with BOTH ninjas and maids with the debuffs stacks skill and stave of infinity skill, you need to act quick and using your mind, otherwise you restart these battles over and over until eventually you win or rage quit or rage win via difficulty down. (I don't think Lunatic+ is in this game but if it was, I can think it was going to be worse than Awakening).
because they are cowards, liars and disgraceful, just like Iago, I'm glad you get to kill every last one of those pieces of shits, for disgracing Nohr, for killing innocent people and for causing pain all those years, they all deserve to die, same with Hans and Iago
Hans who is psychotic and loves to kill people slowly and painfully was killed by Peri who is psychotic and loves to kill people slowly and painfully. Karma’s a bitch.
How did you even get this strong with your units??? I do not know if its my luck or not but my main character as a level 10 noble has about 111 total points of power while he was ascended at level 19. Same happens with some other characters that are exceptionally weak for their level. Bad roll on the dice or something else?
So, I'm assuming that you already completed the Conquest path and are preparing to upload the final battle, so let me ask you a question. Personally, which path did you enjoy more? Birthright, or Conquest?
I've only played Birthrights, but I REALLY want to play Conquest at the same time, I don't want to. Revelations leads to world peace, while everyone you love dies in Birthrights and Conquest. Reasons for wanting Conquest; Xander's BADASS Sword! Elise (of course), Cooler weapons! And all of the heartbreak and sorrow (not really).
Dude, the bullshit. I doubt most people’s units are this well-grinded, especially on _Conquest._ I got hugely fucked over by those stoneborn that apparently HAVE NO MOVEMENT AND THEY FUCKING MOVED. Whoever made this FE game seems to have a chronic allergy to following their own fucking rules of gameplay.

It gets worse on lunatic... Those maids with Staff Savant and Iago's new Hexing Rod...
“We’ll tell him you were murdered by some remaining Hoshidan rebels. How tragic.” YO TELL EM XANDER.

Did you grind with the dlc map? How are you characters so high level on conquest. When I past conquest my highest lvl character was 17

max solis This isn't Lunatic difficulty.....right??!!!
Here's how I did it: I find 15 units that worked really well and used only those 15 units around chapter 21. By then they were all Promoted lvl 18-20.

"I'm the highest-ranking general in the Nohrian army, you fool. Do you really think I'll be so easy to kill?" LOL
