Wow. a Kara reaction, they were my first fav girlgroup in kpop. actually they were the only 2nd girlgroup i checked. i remember, at first i checked out Wonder Girls thru a live stage n really didn't like what i saw/heard so i vowed not to check out anymore girlgroups, lol. i remember at that time Kara debuted and my online friend i met in a rookie boygroup forum(she's a major sm stan especially Boa but knew i don't like big agency/very popular stuffs) recommended Kara to me, saying they just debuted n she was sure i would love them if i give a try to their album with some recommended songs. i was unconvinced and kept trying to push away the idea but finally gave in and tried them from a live perf of their debut song Break It, and i instantly love them. the rest is history. they became my fav girlgroup for awhile though later i think i came to love several other groups maybe a bit more like Rainbow and Storm and i might love Nine Muses as much as i love Kara, or a bit less. Kara will always be my first girlgroup bias though, from wayy back before other fandoms even consider Kara as same level with Snsd and Wg. the good old days. funnily, same thing happened with another boygroup from Kara's agency, SS501...i wasn't interested at first because they seemed too popular at the time, but i met another online friend who recommended a few songs for me to try before deciding since she was sure i would like them, and yeah same thing happened, i love so many of their songs n unique voices n funny variety shows too so i became a fan. from then onwards, dsp had been in my radar because it seemed their groups have the kind of music, voices and vibe i enjoyed, so i also ended up a fan of A'ST1 and Rainbow. i know nobody asked, it's just fun to reminisce my good old times of kpop especially when i saw this reaction. and it seems your bias is Seungyeon(main vocalist, though they used to have a really strong main vocalist, Sunghee that left the group after the first album due to studies and family issues, funfact, Kara originally debuted with 4 members and after Sunghee left they added Hara and Jiyoung) and you also pointed out Gyuri(leader) voices a few times. Gyuri is my fav member and part of the reason i wanted to be a fan other than loving their songs haa. well thanks for the reaction.

Same here, KARA is my second fave 2nd gen girl group after SNSD. They are the true rival of SNSD. You should react to their Killing Voice.

2nd generation girl group, "KARA", the legendary group of Golden Age
strong contender for Girls' Generation. Uniquely, KARA was more popular in Japan.
In Korea, 'Girls' Generation' was a little more powerful, and in Japan, 'Kara' was more powerful.
Many people say that the second generation was the most powerful because of the environment of that era and the presence of the Top Tier groups.
Back then, the sound level was low, but They were forced to throw a microphone and perform live on every stage. The music industry and broadcasters all participated in killing idols.
It's an era where live or lip-sync marks were inserted into the broadcast screen and real-time broadcasts were performed. They were in an era where we had tremendous schedules. Back then, there was almost no supporting in an environment that was much worse than now.
    People recall the times.
"It was a time when their performance was fierce."

Although I am not "KAMILIA",But Kara is a 2nd generation girl group that I really like and appreciate, and they have a lot of popular Japanese albums,You will definitely like their style, especially their Japanese songs.
I was lucky enough to be a part of their 2013 and 2015 Japan tours!
They and Snsd are the most popular and successful 2nd generation K-pop girl groups in Japan.
But,Kara's economic company is very disgusting and terrible
2019 member GuHara pass away unexpectedly breaks my heart, 2nd girl groups basically end badly,It's sad😭
    BTW:"KAMILIA"It's an official fan name.

Are you educated? It's in 2022 and who said it failed. It's even won on music show and became first girl group to get music show win in three decades. You're just hater or maybe just international fans who pretend to know about kpop. Shame on you.

@@untilifoundthissongthat or a new K-pop fan who just stans new groups lol.
Cuz only they decide a group being successful and loved by their achievements on music shows and charts.
They don’t know if groups like Kara had not done well in Japan , their favs could not experience the bliss of having easy access into the Japanese market lol .
Same as the other commenter said before , they didn’t fail lol , it was not a comeback like groups competing to survive , but tbem celebrating their freaking 15th anniversary and still being loved.
How many groups could do that these days ?
