Millicent Martin is finding a whole new audience now that she's got a regular role in "Grace and Frankie" with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin on Netflix. She's definitely up there in years, but she's still got what it takes, and she's a hoot in this show. Glad they made her a regular - and that she's STILL here!
She was Julie Andrews's roommate during the years in which they both played in the Broadway version of the Boy Friend... LOVELY. And yes, such a great talent! ❤❤

WOW. I've seen a lot of women do this song. Saw Yvonne in the original Follies (and remarkably, she remembered all the lyrics). Also saw Elaine Stritch (brilliant). But somehow Millie's rendition is... First Class! What a talent.
Bacall looks great and Millicent too great performance of I'm Still Here. Got to see Yvonne DeCarlo in Follies and have listened to the original cast album a million times and I love Yvonne's performance. When she sings "I got through all of last year" you really feel it.
I saw Side By Side By Sondheim 4 times during its London run and loved every single moment. The entire cast were brilliant. There's not enough signs big enough....there's not enough lights bright enough to describe the stunning genius of Mr Sondheim. Who's like him?.........Damn few.
This rendition is tops of all I’ve seen, - and I’ve seen most in person or on film - of leading singing/actors. This lovely woman deserved much more recognition than she receive. Wow. Just plain wow. I was looking up "Stop the World" cuts and this was something suggested on the right column. I am so incredibly glad I decided to listen. To say that she nailed it understates her performance tremendously. I'm stuck with Wow.

I'm having a running discussion with a friend. I remember watching the film Alfie when i was young and it definitely stated on the end credits that Millicent was singing the song. My friend said i imagined it, but i know what i saw,. Is there anywhere i can find proof of this?
Unless I missed it, it seems an opportunity missed not to have had a Frasier musical episode like some sitcoms have done. Millie, David and Kelsey all singers just to start, there may be more
I love Patti lupones version but it's missing my favorite verse... Without the Herbert hoover references and reefer and vino, this song looses it's essence.
