Quite a few of you guys had been asking for some Fallout 76 content, so here I am just dipping my toe in a little with this one. If you want to see more of this game please let me know. Thanks to those of you that told me how much this game has improved and for giving my all the advice of how to cut though the problems and find all the good content. And especially to all those players who have helped me on missions and donated weapons, outfits and materials. You guys rock!

Glad it was helpful! I stayed in this camp for a long time, it's a good spot but last night I finally moved and started building a proper Brotherhood bunker.
I like destiny, and FO76 is really to me another destiny that is in the fallout universe, which I happen to also love. getting a fine-tuned build to just rip and tear any enemy is super satisfying, and the mid game storylines are pretty good. they just need to add more in the way of the world to not feel dull and empty with very scattered enemies/wildlife/npcs in general. late game is just me building or chillin out and waiting for events to pop.
Yeah, you are totally right, the game is very misunderstood. I think people were hoping it would be Fallout 4 just with multiplayer, others wanted a full MMO. In fact, the game was neither. As you said it's roughly a loota shooter a bit like Destiny in a Fallout skin. I also agree there is a lot to like about the game now. It was only by talking to some other members of the community here I started to see the game for what it really was and then started to see how to approach it and get the most enjoyment out of it. My experience was somewhat like yours. I started to enjoy the combat for what it was and some of the mid game storys were really good. There is some excellent Fallout story telling in there but you really have to dig a bit to find it. Thanks for watching and for the great comment.
In a lot of ways, it's still a very strange and frustrating hybrid game. I found the early game flat-out boring, but a few people here talked me into pushing deeper in. I recently played the Brotherhood quest lines and really enjoyed it. Under all the nonsense is some decent Fallout gameplay and story. You are right that it does take a lot of time to get there.
