Seriously, thank you so much for this information. The reviews online are so all over the place and a lot of the RUclipsrs who have posted reviews were sent on their trips by EF themselves and you just never know if their trip was enhanced for the purpose of them saying favorable things but seeing a review from someone just like me, not rich & not an influencer was SO HELPFUL. I’m planning on going to Rome, Paris & London in October! 😊
of course! I felt the same way when I first was looking at reviews years ago. But they really are an amazing company who give people like me a chance to travel young! If you book you can use my code to save $100 with the link in the description (it activates the code) After you’ve traveled with EF they give you opportunities like what I do by sharing it to other peeps. Rome and Paris and London sound amazing!! Especially in the fall
If you’re watching this video, I would look into other travel tour companies. Contiki and Top Deck are probably the most popular and they’re for their reasons like being wayy cheaper for the same experience!
Thank you so much for this! 😭 I’ve been wanting to travel for as long as I can remember. I’m currently 23 and already lost 2 years of my early 20s to covid 🥲 I’ve been wanting to travel but had nobody to go with who was willing and I always got anxiety just thinking about the planning/booking of everything so I thought EF Ultimate was so perfect. I was so scared before of going on my own traveling with strangers but after this whole covid mess, I’m over my worries and just wanna live life! This video definitely helped cement my decision so thank you 😭❤️
5 days left to my first EF Costa Rica trip!! And I’m freaking out!! I’m also doing the 35 days trip to Europe ! Only 98 days !! 🎉❤ So much happening !! Thank you for your amazing video 🎉🎉
Ima make sure to use your link and my friend too because you’re the only person who looks like me. Aka not boujie and white 💀 get ya benefits girl you deserve it
Great video! I am hoping to go to Japan next year during the Spring. This will be my first trip out of the country and with EF, so I'll be looking forward to your review of the trip. I hope you get to go and have fun there.
Omg bestie thanks for making this video. It helps so much hearing this information from someone who’s not privileged 👀 I just wanted to ask real quick: What is the day to day like? Is it very fast paced that you can’t stay still or are there various times for free time?
Hey girl :) It really just depends on the trip itself! Like if you’re on an active Ireland one or if you’re on a chill low activity one. The site kind of has a rating for each trip :) But there’s always time for free time! Usually after your day activities you always get the evenings to yourself and to do whatever you want :)
The only thing I can say is if you fall on hard times or need to cancel your trip for any reason at all please be aware that they will not refund you a single penny. I lost $2185 to this company in 2018 because I had to move and needed to cancel my trip. They told me that the cancellation fees for canceling 50 days prior to the trip start date would be $2215 and claimed that they were charging me less than they should be for canceling and that I would not be able to receive a refund. Really sketchy seeing as I'm certain it would have been easy to replace me which they likely did, which would also mean that they pocketed all of my money and then some.
I’m sorry that happened to you :( I’ve had to cancel a trip and just received a voucher to apply to any future trip! The whole amount I had paid. Hopefully that procedure has changed since 2018!
Thank you so much for this video! I've been looking at EF for multiple years now and finally decided to pull the trigger a few months ago. It will be my first time out of the country and my first time traveling alone. I'm very very very nervous but it is a once in a life time opportunity and I am also so excited! Where will you be going on your next trip?
Thanks for the info! Planning on doing my first EF trip. Thinking of Austria, Czech and Hungary trip I just got back from a solo UK trip on my own. Let me know how the Japan trip is! I’m thinking of doing that next.
i was ify about at first because of all the scams but I'm defiantly dong this i still got some years on me i saw it was an age limit and i always had to budget so this year or next defiantly going
Thanks for the video! I am currently debating between Ireland and Costa rica, I know the countries are so different so you really can’t compare, but which trip did you enjoy more?
I personally loved Ireland a little bit more! But that’s because I preferred Belize (tropical) over Costa Rica! Which those are similar. So I say do Ireland and then Belize next! Ireland was beautiful and especially if you like history, castles, and beer! I didn’t like beer before this trip and now it’s changed my mind. It’s so beautiful. Costa Rica was also very fun though! Beautiful as well! So you can’t go wrong with either :) Please let me know if you book :D
Not really! Rules are just keep your group informed! Some days we’d have to wake up for the next event early but some people would be out until 2 am lol Also with Covid just google if there’s a curfew in the country but I’ve never experienced that
I didn’t travel during Covid! I rang in 2020 in Ireland before the pandemic hit, but others are traveling rn with it and it’s been still fine and easy with them taking care of what you need/preparing you in every way!
I've watched a few videos about this ans I haven't seen anyone answer this. What do they fly you on? Do you share a room with a stranger your own hotel room?
OMGGG. I think if you’re gonna do Japan (I am too) I would do the 14 day one!! It’s a huge trip on my bucket list might as well get as much as I can out of it! :)))
I always took the time off around Christmas time because usually work places I’ve been always gave a few days off around that time anyway so then I used PTO to cover the other days :)
I've never flown on a plane before, how is navigating through the airport cause I really wanna do this but so scared ill get lost in the airport and miss my flight. Lol
Airports can be stressful sometimes! But it’s way easier than it seems :) You get to the airport, check in with your airline, get your boarding pass, and check your bags (the ones that go under the plane) with an attendant. They’ll take it and it’ll reach you at your end destination :) Then most airlines allow you to have a personal item (like a backpack that can fit under a seat) and a carry on (small small suitcase or duffel bag that can fit above your plan seat in a compartment) After you do that you walk to security/TSA. There’s signs everywhere telling you where to go next :) Through security you have to empty your pockets, take off shoes and jackets and put in bins that will scan through x ray system to make sure you don’t have weapons and such. Or any product bigger than 4 oz (so no big bottles of shampoo, lotion, etc. that can go in your CHECKED bad which is the one that goes under the plane) You walk through a scanner and then that’s it! You’re in the gates now. Now you just walk to the gate your boarding pass says it’s at and sit and wait :) until your flight boards! Always show up to the airport a couple of hours before your flight!
This is entirely biased given that you are an influencer for EF therefore your “review” is a masked and disguised technique to promote the tour to people seeking a genuine and honest feedback. Very cheeky ;)
If you watched the video I say that I was an EF traveler and went on 3 trips with them over three years before they even had a program :) and during that time I would tell others about it. That was 2017-2020. Belize & Guatemala, NYE in Costa Rica and then NYE in Ireland I always give my honest opinion, which is why I said things like “if I’m being honest, I think EF needs to refine their itinerary more to include more of that pop culture, Japan stuff because if you don’t go out of your way and book your own separate excursions you may miss out, cuz it’s very history heavy. I explain that’s why I booked the Pokémon cafe, teamLab interactive museum, made a point to visit every Pokémon center in the big 3 cities, skipped an EF planned activity to visit the lucky cat shrine, Nintendo store, etc.” I would never promote a company I 1) do not use myself and 2) lie and say everything is perfect. I state the facts, my opinion on parts of the trip, provide feedback & show activities I did on the trip to help others plan their trip, and so on. So, whether you “believe me or not” my review is not “masked and altered or disguised” and IS filled with genuine honest feedback. And even if you yourself dont read or care for this comment, I hope others who had the same thought see it too. Have a good day :)
