- In order for me not to risk getting a 3rd strike on my RUclips Channel, should I close my RUclips Channel? I know it would not be a fun thing and it's gonna be a dissapointing for all my subscribers but I just don't want to risk getting another strike. Hey, it might be a good thing since I won't have to worry about anymore RUclips problems and anymore trolls here on RUclips. I am gonna give you until Tuesday March 27th to vote YES or NO if I should close my RUclips Channel.

Personally, the best option is to keep the channel here and also make a new one just to be sure, so there will be time just in case.
here's a tip to help u, when u get something from the internet and /or not from your mind, site it in the video so copyright issues don't happen.

You may need to wait those long 6-8 months if you want your account to go back to normal.
It may not be good for your subscribers, but that's the best thing to do without closing your account.
Plus, don't download videos from NASCAR.com. That's what's causing one of those strikes.
Instead, just record videos from a standard digital camera, and you'll be fine.
I would make a back-up account just to be safe. But In general, i vote yes.

No. To avoid getting your third strike, just do this:
1. Post NASCAR gameplay ONLY.
2. DON'T do commentary.
or 3. DON'T POST ANY VIDEOS for AT LEAST 8 MONTHS. I know it's not good for your subscribers, but it may be for the best over time.

Don't close down just setup a new one if this one does get shut down then move to the other one.
Heres a thought, don't close the account, just make a new one. That way you still have all of these videos, and you can upload as much as you want to the new account.

I don't think u should close it Joseph! U should post on ur channel header an alt RUclips acc and post videos on that acc! U said in 6 months the (or a) strike(s) would be removed right? So use the alt acc untill then!

While Its Better For Us To Know If You Account Closed. You Might Just Want to Make A Second Channel. And Just Re-Upload Your Videos But Make Sure RUclips Knows In Case Of Copyright Issues.

Yeah, I don't think you should close it dude, I mean, just upload the NASCAR.com stuff like highlights and stuff to the 2012 account instead of your main. I'd hate to see you close your channel or get banned. Just keep doing your NR2002, NR2003, NTG2011, F1, and your other video games and you should be A-OK. So, my say is; No.

I shut down my account and I don't regret it... it's too time consuming, so no on a personal level. It helps you in life to terminate your youtube activity.
