One thing I like to do to help getting the results I wnt is also image to image. But I don´t use an ai generated image. I do a very rough and dirty one minute sketch, and then send the AI over it. And that way, I never ever have trouble with getting angles or poses right. Because I give the AI what is kind off a visual/text mixed prompt. Makes prompting easier too. Because you can pre deifine a lot of stuff very easily that way you won´t have to nestle into the promt anymore. Although, be warned, the AI can be just as finniky about the way something is sketched.
Thanks for the video as just downloaded DrawThings today. I was wondering why the window where it creates the image (the checkerboard patterned window) can be panned around in? Thanks.
@@MarkBowenPiano You’re welcome! I don’t know as I’ve ever panned in the canvas. Definitely zoomed but I don’t think I have panned. Are you asking why you can’t do it?
@@grenierdave Sorry no I was asking why you CAN pan around the checkerboard pattern. On Mac you can pan around it but not sure why it gives you that ability? On an iPhone you can not only pan around but can also zoom in too but again I'm not too sure why you can do that? Thanks.
Ah. More than likely so you can check the image and make it easier for Inpainting. Inpainting lets you change a section of an image (if you wanted to keep everything the same but maybe change eye color). I have had mixed results with Inpainting so I usually just generate images and pull them into Photoshop when I want to edit them. That would be my guess. Let me know if you have any other questions. I’m in the process of making a few more videos on DT.
@@MarkBowenPiano its a 'working canvas' area.. i just started using it myself so dont know the full value of it, but from what i read the idea is that you can collect assets and images and use them together
