Over 300 million casualties, probably close to 350 million depending on Japan and China. Plus millions more dead from the nuclear fallout. Something like 20% of the worlds population at the time. Truly apocalyptic!
Okay Japan, you can take whatever choice cuts from the US you want. Anything at all, it's all on the table. "Let's see here, I'll take, uh... Oregon, South Carolina, and uh... New England, please."
It’s weird because despite the Axis victory, this global war would lead almost immediately to an economic depression. All of the fighting nations are without enough young people to repopulate (in areas that are allowed to at least 👀), the wars cost, the resources, etc. would lead to a mutilated victory. Yes the Axis and possibly theAsian Prosperity Sphere won but the governments would collapse, leading this war to mean completely nothing 🙃

In this Italy lost dam near half of there pop (what was in the military, not even civilians) at the time (well pop as 1939 irl, IDK how pop fully works in HOI4), the rest IDK but it's probably also a major ouch in pop as well, considering the long fight on the east coast
U know what could be interesting? Equipment percentage of the armies over time if thats possible. Also: Whats with the sudden spike in the axis' losses? Did the comintern losses just get added on top of it?
Yep of course it can. It will also naval invade and conquer Japan if given a navy, tested it quick the other day. But problem with that setup is what after Japan falls, it is basically game over.
At some recent point/update they started actually joining the war at a later date and getting painted as Axis. They are part of it just not in the war for a while. It just ends up looking like that for which ever reason.
This went eerily similar to how my most recent Elite Germany game went... slow grind through Russia and surrender in 45 England by 46 and the invasion of America taking well into the 50s...

Even with a strong navy, Italy struggled to hold Africa. Is the Ai just not very good at understanding the frontline in Africa or whatever? You know, except for the allies ai.
yep it rather often confuses itself. I was watching indeed how it left Africa empty while naval invading Britain.. but well perhaps it knows something we don't x)
Right, was thinking about that suggestion. I had no clues how to add navy back then, in fact was told it can not be done. With that out of the way though, Iceland would be a painful scenario to see through x) I'll do it, just not sure when
Italy concluded the campaign with 17 Carriers and 17 Battleships remaining. Thanks for watching!

New England makes sense, dense, good infrastructure and populous, but lol the other 2?

A decade-long war on the American east coast. Wow
in reality it wouldnt be that long, its actually relatively easy to invade the US... just ask Japan.
@@velnz5475 It really aint that easy
@@velnz5475 When did they invade US proper?
@@jiraffe9600 Well not US mainland, but they did indeed invade the far far east (far west) Alaskan Islands
@@velnz5475 That’s not the far Far East. They would have to invade the mainland for it to “be easy to invade”.
Yeah!
Italy was helpful at last.
Wow! That one was impressive! That moment when Italy conquers the British isles, not to forget the pocket in the southern states...

Well the nazis had repopulation programs for spreading the Aryan race also they would make all the countries they took over go into slave labor
