I had to learn early that self responsibility and just showing genuine love to those close to you is the best thing you can do for yourself and them. Your bm can be toxic asf but you can't let her define how you deal with your children. Excellent information. I used to be looking for "the one" for me in my 20s. I dated so many girls. What I found out was that without exception, they are 100% absolutely insane. Reason just does not apply to them. If you would treat them nice, they would run from you like for their life. Only if they weren't sure they could have you, would they be attracted to you. The way I dealt with it was to make sure I didn't remain virgin; which I managed by pretending I'm an a-hole, which works like a charm; and then, eventually, I had enough of putting up an act for them, and threw in the towel. I haven't dated since. I am 40 now, and live stress-free, happy, content. I do not need a woman in my life. And I think society would be a whole lot better of by putting women in the role they used to be up to 50, 100 years ago - equal rights for unequal people is a terrible, terrible choice.
