The JWBL is a blend of up to 35 single malt and 3-4 single grain whiskies. The main constituents are Cardhu, Glenkinchie, Dalwhinnie, Cragganmore, Clynelish, Dailuaine, Caol Ila, Glenkinchie, Dalwhinnie, Blair Athol, Roseisle and Talisker. The Caol Ila and Talisker are of both the peated and unpeated variety. All grain whiskies come from Cameronbridge. Sadly, the earlier Mortlach, Linkwood, Teaninich and Dailuaine single malts are lost to posterity, which explains the changed flavour profile and taste of today’s JWBL. The Double Black features peated Caol Ila, Talisker and 8-YO Lagavulin.
Blended whiskies are typically less than 40% malt and more than 60% grain. The ones this video are Not single or even blended malts! Except for Paul John.

Hi there...look mate the Ballantine is like an everyday drink, brilliant of course. Red Label...nope , never sorry about that, but certainly the black or spending a bit more and buying a double black makes sense. Jameson ..yes near perfect Irish taste, even Bush Mills is class apart. Paul John is again a no no because of its harsh taste, just does not give a smooth taste. Famous Grouse yes anytime again, just a bit harsh but tastes better and refreshing. With an old Monk u can never go wrong... having said that this was purely my choice mate with no offense...thanx
Aapka taste sirf scotch hai mostly european type..... Mai apna baar banao to red label kachra , starting would teachers 50 and highland cream, mera taste smoky and peated hai to I prefer paul john bold instead of Brilliance, best budget and all time fav of mine is bourbon Jim beam ... It's a must for bourbon lovers
