@@fpa3734 origami involving cutting is generally called "kirigami"(paper cutting) within the origami community. this is not because we are snobs, but rather due to the very different approach origami and kirigami take in the design of a model. an origamist would look at this model and either try and improve it by changing the fold pattern to split the wings in some way (a difficult process), or he would decide that the realism allowed by changing the model would not benefit the design, and keep it the way it is (without the cut in the end). whereas, a kirigamist (kirigami maker?) would apply a different process to split the wings, and that way might include cutting. that is not to say that kirigami is better or worse than origami, simply different, just as drawing in black-and-white is not superior or inferior to to drawing in color, but rather can be used to express different things in a way that the other can't. for example, the origami in my pfp was folded from a single square sheet of hanji paper. i could have made that way faster by simply gluing several pieces of paper, but i chose to do it this way as i find the process more enjoyable. i am not trying to diss on kirigami, i'm just saying that as an someone who has been an origamist since his childhood, it is a little disheartening to see this sort of paper fold marketed as "origami", as i think it belittles the effort origamists put towards their designs (if you want to see some truly exceptional folds, search for juho konkkola's youtube or his website).
@@neilvitis8142 Not every one knows there is a differense between origami and kirigami. I diden't untill i saw your post. Factually i dident even know that if you cut the paper it's no longer considered origami, but turns in to somthing else. Perhaps this is also the same with the videos creator?
Nice one. Sadly I was searching Robert J Lang 's dragonfly (I can't figure out steps from 26 to 27 in "the complete book of origami" page 36). If you know about it ;) Best Regards
Everything is ok except for one thing, origami includes only the folding of paper, no cuttings, no pastings, anyways a good paper craft
Actually that's technically not true
Move out of the way of that gate Mr gatekeeper.
It’s not only folding if u watch other videos
And if u watched the full video there was cutting
Yeah yeah Mr Gyanimanav, this is why you dont havr any friends
Amazing. Finally a traditional guy
Thank you
I was loving this until you pulled out a pair of scissors
It totally would have been fine if they had tagged/called it Kirigami, as this is the art they did
I agree with you
Me too fr SHASHA
☝️🤓
Took me three attemps to do it correctly but i have it. I'm happy with the result.
That's awesome! good luck.
Hello
I love this chanel🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks
Love it so much ❤ good luck !❤
Thank you so much!!
It's like a math teacher when you look away for one second and look back and the teacher is doing completely different
5:33 I was hoping this wouldn't happen but it did. Still a good design.
cutting the wings adds to the design and gives it a better more realistic look. some origami DOES (factually) involve cutting.
Thank you I made this and it turned out good but it’s my first time making one so I need to work on my creases
Great job!
@@EasyPaperOrigami thank you
खूपच छान आहेत
very beautiful😍
Thank you! 😊
Good dragon fly making ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😮😮😮😮😮
Thank you
Grande!!! 🤩🤩 Grazie per condividere questi lavori!! 😊😊
All was good until the scissors happened
It's not really origami if you cut the paper. I think it's cute though.
Would you like to fold the wings? You can you just don’t have any instructions to do so
Don't be a silly boy. Origami is "folding paper", not "ONLY folder paper". Not even Japanese people are that purist.
