Remove the kernels from the cob. Let cob cool. Perfect teething helper with taste. 8 months old? I was feeding mine from my plate. Mashed up rice with gravy, mashed up everything. My two are in their mid 40's now and been extremely healthy all their lives. Feed them real food so they pass logs, not soup.

2 different versions of this corn puree came to my mind during this video that I'd like to try especially if yall are into natural food choices. I was raised going outside and picking and eating my breakfast & lunch from the garden, wild fruit trees, patches, bushes and vines. I raised my kids on the same land and I taught them to do the same. We always had an abundance of "wild" fruits and greens all of which were safe to eat. Mixing fruit, especially berries with meat dishes is good but to Westerners, it often times sounds discusting.
💜 The Recipes That Came To My Mind Tonight After Watching & Thinking about This Video. 🌻
-The meat version recipe that is right now forming in my head:
*Highly buttered real mashed potatoes but not runny potatoes. Make'em as normal. And stir in with the pureed sweet corn.
*Nice crispy bacon bits or cut up slices of bacon that YOU cooked not from a container at the store.(see below for bacon idea)
    * Shredded cheese (whatever flavor you like)
    *Salt, pepper etc.
*Cut up already cooked ham chunks
(Probably about any kind of meat will do)
*Bell pepper pieces and or Jalapeno peppers etc.
*Berries of whatever kind you like but do NOT cook them with the pie. Save them to add to the pie later on if you wish to. Berries like wild mulberries, blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries, wild strawberries etc.
*Stir it all together and pour into a pie crust. Except for the berries.
*Put things, like battered fried zucchini blossoms, on top of the pie and or thin slabs of already cooked dead animal like chris crossed bacon slices on the very top. It would be real good if the bacon that is in and on the pie was "candied" via cooking it in the oven with brown sugar and pancake syrup on it. Look it up to find a way of making your own recipe. Making nice crispy bacon in the oven is easy and not near as messy as frying it. Look up how to candy bacon.
*And then bake that there pie up! Just make sure the pie innards aren't too liquidity.
    -The Non Dead Animal Version
I eat as little meat as possible so for me I think I might do the following:
*Add sliced boiled eggs into the pureed corn mixture
*Make real mashed potatoes with a nice amount of butter but don't make the mashed potatoes be runny.
*Shredded cheese (whatever flavor you prefer)
    *salt, pepper, etc.
    *Butter.
*Bell peppers and or Jalapeno peppers.
*Many veggies might work with this like thinly sliced carrots & celery. (For those of you who know "wild" foods young lamb's quarter leaves, young wild carrot roots, thinly sliced burdock root, small amount of day lillies, violet leaves & flowers will do.-)
*Stir it all together. Make sure it isn't too liquidity or thick and pour it into the pie crust. Cover the pie with thinly sliced battered and fried zucchini slices. Add slices of those big giant tomatoes on top.
*Berries of whatever kind you like but do NOT cook them with the pie. Save them to add to the pie later on if you wish to. Berries like wild mulberries, blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries, wild strawberries etc. Berries taste good with many meals.
If it isn't too thin you could also make pancakes with the above 2 recipes or just with the sweet corn purred itself.
Imma talking myself into trying it!
Thank ya for the ideas. 🙂💜🌻

What a great video and darling little boys. You should do this again in a year and see what their reaction is. One thing you’ll learn with little ones is that sometimes they have to try something more than once before they decide they like it.

Yall's corn is looking tall and good. I have not noticed the sweet corn fields but the field corn is growing slower than normal this year. It most certainly wasn't higher than knee high by thee 4th of July here in north east Indiana this year. At least not in my county anyways, but it will be ready in time for harvest and the animals will have their feed so all is well and will be well. I eat field corn when it is at the right stage.
