Like many others I came to listen to VOWER through Rabea. And don't get me wrong, I'm still very grateful to listen to him in a band context, I completely missed the train on his previous projects. But man, I'm going to stay because of Josh for sure ! I've heard 2 songs from the guy and I already put him in my all-time top 3. It's everything I love and want to hear in metal vocals. The cleans are soaring, the growls are gnarly, and the blend of the two is pure joy to me. Can we get more of this for the next 50 years, please ? 😂
We're playing these festivals if any are close to you! 🙏 Thursday 11th - 2000 Trees Friday 26th - RADAR Saturday 17th - ArcTanGent Saturday 5th October - Euroblast (Germany)
Oh man. Goosebumps the whole way through. It is so great to get this aspect from a vocalist. Thankyou. Any advice to some 13-14 year olds really letting loose in rehearsal and enjoying the singing, shouting and screaming, but ending up hoarse at the end?
Incredible. For folks looking for more similar music, check out a...funny enough, second band with a five-letter all caps name that starts with the same letter, VEXES
There are these "Vocal One Take" videos and this video .. everyone needs to know there are compressors on these vocal takes...that make singers sound way better than they are....and I'm a singer admitting this.....I say this not to take away this singer's talent....
I think people realise that, just like all the guitar and drum playthroughs are also mixed and not just raw audio. Its a phenomenal performance either way 🔥
This is a particularly ignorant comment trying to down play the vocal performance here.. Do you think we're all noobs ? If you're a "singer", you obviously don't know much about your craft, or mixing a performance. Compression reduces the dynamic range of a signal. Vocal recordings are naturally dynamic, which means they have a wide range of loud and soft parts. Compression reduces the distance between the loudest and softest part of the vocal, making it more consistent in volume throughout.., you don't know much about mixing at all by the sound of it. Compressors do NOTHING to the work the singer does here at all, this is a one take performance....
Unbelievable talent! 🔥
😘😘
HOLY HELL the amount of skill to pull that off in one take, this man got pipes! 2 songs out and already a massive fan

You should check out Palm Reader, Josh's previous band. Their work is amazing especially their last two albums
@@Camburg44 It’s already on my radar, haven’t had time to get around to it just yet but I most certainly will. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)
As someone who absolutely adored Palm Reader and was sad to see the project end, I’m very happy that we get to hear more of you here :)
OMFG
Holy Shit this is amazingly good, I would love to see these guys with KARNIVOOL!
Need to see you lads live, this is something

Two songs and it’s safe to say, this is going to be the band to end all bands. Dear lord please be the lineup that lasts for decades.
Got dam dude!
Great vocals!🖤

I disagree...
Never assume anything
@@simclimie6045 interesting, I think almost everyone would expect some mixing as part of a play though 🤷♂️
The signal chain doesn’t take away that this was clearly performed in one take though, and it’s a quality performance
