Hi, I was planning a trip in December for Skiing. However, i just checked the temperature and in mid December the teperature is almost -20. Would you recommend going to Almaty in December end ?

Bro i am currently at the airport returning from Almaty Last week Shymbluk was freezing 🥶 There are 3 levels 1 normal 2nd one is called combi 1 3rd one is called combi 2 . Combi 2 is closed in winters. Till level 1 its all good but when we get to level 2 temperature dropped from -20 to -33 and gone around -40 °C . I couldn't believed. Usually the temperature is not that high , just last week it was a bit more high ,if u are planning to travel its a great place ✌️

Hey, if you want to enjoy snowfall and chilled weather then Dec to February would be the perfect month to visit Almaty.
Else you can plan for April if you want to go in moderate weather.
